id love to see a merger between strange and funk volume when tech retires or begins to slow down in 5-10 years time, but might be close to impossible but id love to see it!!!!!!!

I think they need to take a lonnnnnggg harrrrddd look at their future of strange music and think about whose gonna be next in line to pass the torch after tech... maybe a young talented. Artist who can bring strange music even higher.

how come it would be great buisness for both and good publicity,

Hopsin wants to do his own thing and his vision for FV isn't what Tech has for Strange. I don't understand why everyone has always Hopsin to give in and not do his own thing despite Hop saying himself he wants Funk Volume. And with Dizzy and Jarren signed, they're obviousy serious about it.

I think a FV+Strange album would be cool. Mix and match the artists from both labels.
But merging the labels would be a bit extreme. Hop and Jarren are both badass, havent heard much of Dizzy.
I hope Funk Volume continues to develop. Im waiting on Knock Madness and Jarrens first studio LP.

As for who takes the reins of Strange, Kali is really the only person I see deserving of the position.
Him and Kutt have both put in a decade of work, but Kali has done 75-90% of every Tech album.
He has obviously been learning a lot, because it seems like he is only getting better.
I think by sigining Mayday, Ces Cru and Rittz they are really setting Strange up to be diverse enough to survive without Tech.

well tech keeps sayin in interviews when we signin jl but i think he will be on strange lane

hahaha tech i think will retire when he's in his fifties or sixties cuz hes still hype as hell

tech already said he wasn't signing anyone else to strange until he had jl of b.hood on the team.

I dig JL, but I really don't think he's anything special. I just don't think he's particularly great at anything and I don't believe he has serious star potential. Not enough to keep Strange going after Tech's retirement.

And fuck a Funk Volume merger. That idea is preposterous. I've lost a lot of respect for Hopsin over the last few months, and I've honestly grown tired of his music. He's really not as great as I once thought. I only like Dizzy and Jarren over Hopsin. Hop is approaching thirty and I honestly don't see any growth or progression in his music. I think Dizzy and Jarren are great, and their development looks promising.

What has Hop done in the past few months to lower your opinion of him? He hasnt released anything but Hop Madness and Ill Mind 5 right?
I am really looking forward to Knock Madness. I was hoping it'd be out this year, but if he wants to take his time to perfect it then so be it. Raw was raw as fuck to me.
And as for him not progressing his style, have you heard Emurge or Gazing at the Moonlight? Raw is 10x the albums those are. I am greatly anticipating his next release.

Aqualeo would be a better signing than JL. I like my dude JL, but Aqualeo I think would produce a better album under Strange. I would sign JL to Strange Lane if that still exists, which seems like it doesn't,

True true. I like hopsin but he's kinda stupid and ignorant. To be honest.
