Ya hes got a mainstream feel to him, he comes hard on some shit but idk..personally i just dont really feel him

So you like his verse in this....

over this song.....

from XXL

On the West Coast, Dr. Dre & DJ Quik were in the studio together working on Jay Rock’s album, Follow Me Home.

i don't care if he's "mainstream" if that's some kind of crime. if your working with dr. dre i expect to hear some dope shit. plus if you listen to black friday, i'm pretty sure the album is gonna have more songs like that than boomerang and 90 % real music=good music in my opinion

Jay Rock is tight. if ur judgin him by the Black Friday mixtape i dont blame u that cd was kinda whack, but it's mainly cuz of shitty production his rhymes were good. take out those shitty hooks n slap kaliko on it, he'll have a solid cd

u know how Strange never puts out a shitty album.. u should get it

I'll just wait until his album drops to give an opinion.

That's cause you gay.

yes! that's how it is, and you KNOW this ^
well i tried to listen to alot of his songs on youtube and i just cant grasp his ghetto style
really???? really???? how old are u dude cuz from u saying thats cause u gay is just an ignorant statement.. everyone has their own taste .however ill let the cd drop and then see if i like it before i buy it.. hell he could surprise me
