This isn't another thread asking the same fucking question of "OMGZ JAY ROCK SIGNED?!?!??!!?"

Im just curious, Who the fuck is he?

After I read a few of the threads and saw a video of Tech saying he signed him I took interest and YouTubed him...

Have to say, I like(d) Everyone on Strange till that was announced, Not hating or anything but just doesnt seem to fit in with anyone else.

Not that I care either way but does Tech support Bloods? or anything, I know the man likes red but I just thought he liked it, not part of the gang or anything of that, But Jay Rock feels the need (in every song I have looked up) to make it known he is with the bloods So... yeah, Anyone else not feeling him?

I still love Strange regardless, just not this perticular artist

im not that short-sighted. i youtube'd his music & gave it a chance before i said anything. he isnt coming with anything ground-breaking or original. he'll be gone from strange after 1 or 2 albums. and everybody freestyles over that beat. not impressed.Techn9cian4life said:

lol. yeah jay rock is a truly masterful artist. I was so impressed with his feature on "Paper" off TGMP. He displayed so much talent with such memorable verse rhymes as "knock a nigga off, it's all about survival dawg, get money, fuck bitches, rock-star!"...if tech wasnt even hitting multiple matching syllables in his verse we would all boycott. best of luck jay rock.
ima rep the B and never let the C get the best of me...

i think that says it all right there
yes tech is a blood umm the fuckin song b. boy. thats all they talk bout is bein bloods.. and off come gangsta he said gangstas wanna head blast cause i run wit the red rags.. he says soowoo sometimes and in ima playa he says aint no way we can kick it if ya blue or beamed up. and im from kc.. its filled wit bloods.. mostly crips but a fuck ton of bloods.. scood, tech, and kut is all blood niggas. he just dont feel the need to throw it up in erry song cause he aint got nothin to prove..
I couldn't see it on the pics of merch that guy posted, but I did see some people say it was on there in that thread.

Wikipedia is probably the least reliable source you can ever give. If you wrote a paper in school, and said you used Wikipedia to get all your information, your teacher would probably crumple up your paper and throw it in your face.

u needed to Wiki an 'industry fag'? i know nothing about Jay Rock, so i'm not going to make any assumptions just coz he worked with Wayne. Eminem & Tech worked with him, and i like them, so i'm not goin to hate on Jay by default. neither should you

Wasn't until I saw him on tour with Tech that I was like WOW....as far as stage presence, the guy has it. I got the chance to talk to him after the show was over by the buses and he came off as a REALLY cool ass dude. So even if he makes so-so album, this guy is still pretty nice to hang around, which is always a plus.
