Aren't all rappers entertainers? Do not the goals of most, if not ever successful entertainer, pertain to appealing the the masses in some sort of way? Im not trying to say hes the best raper ever (now thats an overrated tupac statement).

And yeah, perhaps when he started out w/ 2Pacalypse it didn't get much response and no one really recognized him that much, it was his first CD as a major signed artist, but he had plenty success when he was alive. His second CD, Strictly for my N.I.G.G.A.Z debuted at #24 on the Billboard 200, All Eyez On Me sold somethin like 566,000 copies in the first week. and Me Against the World, got the number one spot on the Billboards on its release. Sure his carrear was short lived, but he had much more success in his few years as a rapper than most people would even dream to see in their whole carrear.

If you think hes overrated, you have every right to belive it, i guess can sorta see where ur commin from there. Thats debateable and is more likely an unwinable debate because opinons will be brought to the forefront. But to say he wasn't successful until he died, now theres definate proof to dispute that. Thats how i feel bout Wayne, I know dudes overrated, but theres no disputing hes successful.

And lol @ u thinking im brainwashed by the industry. Okay...

hey for these last 2 hours lets get a moment of silence on the talkin down on each other.. pac was a poet the 2pac that the world thinks they know was more than what he seemed in the endin of his life.. so lets ride this night out wit something more positive!!
