I understand and agree, but I'm just responding to other cats that were talking about Tech being the best and no one can ever top him, on some greatest emcee of all time type shit.

I'm just saying you can't say anything like that, like it's a fact. People are clowns.

But, I'll say Tech is my favorite emcee to listen to, but I recognize other cats for being better at certain things. He's just what I like to listen to more, not because I think he's better at everything.

I feel you. I was truly expecting some major hate after I had put my list of top emcees up, people get so up in arms when someone doesn't share the same opinion. A lot of these fans on these forums think that you can't listen to more than one artists camp at a time, pretty sure someone said "fuck anything but strange" on here, and really that person is only cheating them self, there is way too much great music out there to just limit yourself to one crew of artists.

thats not true cole lol, strange is the only thing that i really listen to, well and hopsin, and bone thugs every once and a while. but 90% is strictly strange, doesnt make me a dumbass nutrider. the nut riders are the ones who will change their opinions to what techs are or something stupid, like when tech said he loves waynes music and what hes doing, and then people that hated wayne say hes allgood. strange is the only shit that appeals to me because i relate to it, nothin else grabs me like that, except hopsin, i relate to his shit too. but yess, just to clarify, if you only listen to strange you are not a nutrider, buuuut, if you wana change your beliefs to what fits strange then i guess you can be called a nutrider.

well by saying you listen to bone thugs and hopsin, that automatically take you out of the "i only listen to strange" category that i was describing lol. but still theres a tonnnn of good music out there besides the ones you named. theres got to be something else you like that you just havent heard yet

about 4 years ago my library was like, bone, nwa, eminem, game, 50 (yes i said it), lil wyte, tpain shit, akon, t rock, young buck, chamillionaire, e40, snoop dogg.. fuckin everybody lol. then i found strange and it was like "damn.. ive spent all these years listnin to dudes rap about how rich THEY are and how often they bone a bitch", lol. well i should say, then i found underground shit, and when i discovered tech it was like therapy! lol. dont get me wrong though, i still think most of all the people i mentioned just then are sick as fuck, but i dont remember the last time i bumped it. hopsins raw as fuck though i play his shit like i play strange. off topic but fuck he needs to be on strange!!! lol ohyea and i listen to immortal technique alot too. but still i dont think if someone only listens to strange they become a nutrider, they just have high standards, and strange meets them!

Biggie, IMO, was a great lyricist and could rhyme for days. Pac on the other, was more of a story-teller and was more concerned with politics and society.

Tech is not known for metaphors and punchlines, he's known for flow, speed (while still being able to understand what he's saying), and wordplay. Someone like Eminem is known for just incredible rhyming abilities. Even if Em is not as good as he once was, you cannot say that he can't rhyme anymore. He rhymes just as well if not better, I just don't enjoy the subject matter as much. And I hate that fucking accent.
