Again, it's not just pick a city and play there. I'm not sure if you know how tours/shows work but a performer has to be booked to play a gig and get paid to do it. If you can't find a promoter/club willing to pay you to come out then you move on to the next city that will. Strange Music puts together some amazing press kits for these clubs, but I'm sure a tour stop from them has a hefty price tag. There are a lot of people involved with putting on a show. It's not just the bands it's managers, people to run merch, people to run/set up/ tear down lighting, bus drivers, truck drivers. Then expenses like gas, hotels, food. You get it? The absolute last thing they are thinking about is "Where can we play to make Mike C happy?" You know? From what I read they'll be playing somewhere near Detroit and Grand Rapids. Any more than two stops in Michigan is ridiculous. There's no economy here for it. The rap "game" is a business and if you're going to lose money by going to places with the worst economy in the country, then why even do it? Sheeit.

It better be in his bedroom. Otherwise it might be too far. Although it might be a bit more whiter in there than Mt. Clemens.

mt clemems is not 15 from detroit unless there are two of em.  the mt clemens im thinking of is where central michigan university is. about an hour north of flint

fuck yea it is. i already got my VIP ticket for that show. im stoked to meet tech again but i REALLY want to meet Mike C, but i guess it costs too much to get him there for the meet n greet. too bad!!!!
