Before reading this, i know this is a tech n9ne forum, i just wanted to get my thoughts out.
Ok. about 3-4 weeks ago hop released Ill Mind 5, which talked about kids today with the weed and fucking and other stuff. I'm pretty sure hopsin was trying to go in a different direction with this one.
It was pretty good, but felt a little too judgmental.
And the new track SKREEM he was featured on he talked about weed again.
When i noticed this, i thought to myself, "Is knock Madness (his new album that's gonna be out in a couple months) gonna be about how kids should follow his advice?" If so, then the album will most likely suck.
Now im not saying it's gonna be that way. I just noticed he was talking about weed and advice alot lately. He did say There's gonna be more singles, so i cant say for sure what its gonna be about until I hear them and hear the album.
So to summarize, it's looking like Knock Madness will be judgemental.
Again, im not 100% positive it's gonna be this way, im just gonna have to wait till it comes out and see.
Share your opinions on this. I wanna know what you've been thinking about hop lately and his new album

Hop said it is, and Hop Madness won't be.

so if you are gunna judge what his next album will be like, it's probably smarter to look at hop madness instead.
Permalink Reply by Shane on August 14, 2012 at 4:47am For those of you who don't know what judgemental means...
Judgemental - A value judgment is a judgment of the rightness or wrongness of something, or of the usefulness of something, based on a personal view....
My opinion is basically a judgement on something.
So if I was to judge Hopsin I would say hes a judgemental fellow. I would also judge that he has a message thats good behind his music. Hopsin has stated he doesn't smoke, drink or do drugs so he has to be a little more crafty in his rap career, just a little.
The point im trying to bring across is everybody is judgemental in a way. So expect Knock Madness to have some judgemental material. The nice thing about Hopsin is he doesn't do the party life style. So unlike a typical rap ablum where I expect storys about doing drugs, drinking, smoking weed or getting introuble with the law. I can expect something else. With Hopsin, its usually his perspective on something.
a few weeks ago. I think he posted it on fb.

Permalink Reply by DirtyGinger on August 14, 2012 at 1:24pm I agree. Hopsin has said he supports Dizzy Wright because even though Dizzy admits he smokes between 8-20 blunts a day he still has other focuses and priorities. In Ill Mind of Hopsin 5 I perceived the message as being for people who aren't doing ANYTHING, not just passing "judgment" on smoking weed. I doubt weed smokers would be hanging around Hop if he was constantly preaching to them about that. And you can't hate him for making a song with a good message. There's way more truth in that song than any sort of high-and-mighty passing of judgment. There's so many people I know who I think of when I hear that song.

I smoke weed everyday but I'm not a lazy ass low life non grad scum. Hopsin is talking about smoking weed and being a fucking bum ass lazy fuck with no goals in life. There's a difference.
