how can people listen to STRANGE and not recognize the names: Irv Da Phenom/Nesto the Owner/Oobergeek/JL OR B Hood/Craig Smith/Paul Mussan/Ron Ron/Popper, etc?? I have over 20 different albums/mixtapes of those artists, plus there are many others I didn't mention...and unlike so many others, I actually supported all those artists.
All of those them have been featured on official Strange CDs (not just n9ne) and their albums/mixtapes are much better than anything on MuchMusic/MTV/BET,etc. [IMO] Of course, not everyone will enjoy those artists, but there is a reason why, Tech, Kali, Kutt, Scoob, etc. are featuring them & they certainly deserve a lot more attention!!
& thanks SHX for the update...i was on bandcamp last week and got irv's: Dream Big Hustle Hard CD and this song wasn't released yet. Muchly appreciated!!

I really enjoyed the first and last verses. The second verse was pretty average, but it didn't affect the overall quality of the song. The chorus sample was pretty catchy, pleasing to the ears. The instrumental definitely seems to be Reggae influenced and quite frankly it suites this joint well (no pun intended). I'm looking forward to Irv Da Phenom's new LP, should be pretty epic from what I've had the chance to hear thus far.
