If you live in a swing state, please get out there and vote this election cycle. It's too important to just abstain.

There are too many people (Republicans) that are trying to make it harder for minorities, students, etc. to vote so it's imperative that those of us who can make sure we do. Voter ID laws address the least common form of voter fraud, yet they are the most common form of legislation used and affect and disable a large amount of people from voting on time (mainly people who would likely vote for the Democratic party). 25% of African Americans don't have Photo-Identification and approx. 17-18% of Latinos don't either. Out of state students can't use their school IDs as proper identification to vote, but NRA members can use their fire-arm permits. Seems awfully one-sided isn't it? I live in Florida (where we have a history of voter fraud) so I know I'm going to exercise my right to vote and I think this discussion board could use a new topic. Sorry to all the international users :P obviously feel free to voice your input. Now, if you live in Alabama, sorry but Romney's gonna win that state, I still say get out and vote! but I understand if you don't want to either lol. But for the people in the swing states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, etc. PLEASE vote. There's gonna be a lot of people that show up and get told no. And it doesn't help that voting is done from 7am-7pm, making it already harder for 9-5 hour working citizens. Personally I think it should be a holiday where we get the day off, but Republicans have said over and over, they don't want more people voting, they want less voters. So please, get out there.

There are too  many hateful Republicans who don't want Obama or even Garry Johnson to win no matter what (though GJ has no chance in hell) JUST because of the greed they have that eats at them alive and basically controls them.

Because of such, if there is any way that they can cheat it may just be very likely that it'll happen because it's likely that some Republican politician that's rich (since most are) HAS access to fixing up the election. The question IS however, can the election be fixed?

It CAN! just as exposed in the video, the question however is HAS it been done? Because if not how do we know they really would and will?

So as you can see, it CAN be done and HAS been done and nobody really knows if Obama is going to win because of this. So either way, whether you like or dislike Obama or even Romney or even anyone running or anyone who has ever ran THE POINT is that no matter what to some point its all about money and greed...

And for that reason alone the Republicans are going to have it in the bag a lot very easily even if just to control the house and fuck over opposing democratic presidents. Furthermore, if having a Republican president is mostly our fate a lot then we would hope for a possible good Republican candidate. The problem however is that Republicans aren't out to save or help fix anything.

So the bottom line is that through cheating and BS we're bound to mostly have Republican presidents. Besides what's even worse is that when we have Democratic presidents the Republicans in house won't let Democrats make any progress and to the progressives Democrats don't really push enough anyway. So in reality nothing for anyone that's actually serious about making a difference and creating a higher standard of living in the future is never really going to be happy if ever.

So basically we're stuck and nobody cares and even if we move to any sort of better economic system it would probably just be huge like an NWO rather than just merely socialism. Which is because they'd rather an NWO than budging to actually fix any of our issues at the core.

Face it guys, we're just stuck and the reason nothing gets changed is because anyone real who wants to run is heart broken about the fact that they know running and even possibly winning would truly at the core do no good.

So we're just stuck mostly pretty much... Face it!

@ OP-8

Exactly. The Diebold flaws and much more are covered in the HBO documentary Hacking Democracy.

The rich and powerful will do whatever they can to stay rich and powerful.
Its doubtful that our votes even matter, but whatever we can do to take power away from Obama and Romney.

I urge everyone again, check out Payday Monsanto. Some might label it conspiracy theory rap, but he talks about some very serious issues. About a government that cares more about a false show of security than the privacy and rights of its citizens. Just youtube some tracks, or you can go to paydaymonsanto.com and stream all of his tracks from there for free.

By the way, I think Obama is good but as I said anyone who really knows anything wouldn't want to run. So yes I in reality think he's good but both also naive. That's why it's better to vote for Democrats in general because at least they try and Obama actually tries quite a bit more than most would at that because he's so naive.

So don't think voting for Obama would be a complete waste. Besides Romney/Republicans in general want to ruin everything because they want to think almost nobody deserves anything.

obamanos nigga, he's got my vote

I'm just saying if I work for my money, why would I want to share it with people who just do nothing?

Whatever dude. You obviously don't understand it, despite me trying to explain it. It's a system we all pay in to. Whether you're working or not it's not like they don't contribute back still. But you're ok with your money going to subsidize oil companies that are the richest companies in the world and fraudulent banks? But we can't actually take care of our own citizens who need it god forbid. You're basically say "fuck the people who need it because of a slim minority that abuse the system." You're overlooking the thousands of people who legitimately can't get by otherwise, so should they just die off? That's fucked up. I'd rather my tax dollars go to someone who needs it than Exxon Mobil when they're already making billions. That's ridiculous. These are human beings dude, don't get me wrong, it shouldn't have to come out of our pocket so much as the people who have more to give, but the middle class need to wake the fuck up and realize they have more in common with the working, poor and under class than they will EVER have with the Upper-Upper and Lower-Upper class.

Know why I hate the Democratic Party? Because I'm not going to carry the lazy assholes in the country.
Republicans ideas of Survival of the Fittest is much more appealing.

I hate Romney and I hate Obama, so don't start raging.

Just under 50% of the American public received some form of federal aid this past year. I bet that half of the country isn't just sitting around doing nothing and getting that aid.

Piss tests for people on welfare? Yes please.

This.  I don't really understand politics in the slightest bit and i don't care to ever understand them..Its all the same shit and that shit is corruption.. What america needs is just a regular average joe.  Somebody who didn't go to school for politics, somebody who doesn't speak well, somebody who hasn't ever been rich, or involved with politics what we NEED is somebody who is just a regular guy who got sick of the way this country is ran anything else is just bullshit with a fancy cover up.  We need somebody who doesn't need to prove anything, we need somebody who isn't out for the glory, somebody who isn't out for themselves or power.  I refuse to vote for another criminal with a college degree in public speaking.  At this point I've lost nearly all hope in America, its leaders, and Americans.

I don't mind that, as long as we get to drug test the coke-head bankers who get government handed bailouts as well. I think we should decriminalize all drugs in general, but I understand why one would want to drug test for welfare. and to Chief, good luck with that since corporations choose our candidates. But I'm not sure if I want an average joe necessarily to begin with, a lot of people voted for Bush because he was "the kinda guy you could drink a beer with" 'n he clearly wasn't the man for the job. But I understand what you mean, get rid of the snakes, but in someone with dignity and integrity, unfortunately that won't happen, because they get outspent.
