Just a slogan I came up with.
Think about it!
Nowadays people associate "rap" with shit-artists such as Lil Wayne, Drake, blah-blitty-blah-blah. The list goes ON and ON.. (By the way this is not just another rant about the mainstream.)
Besides Eminem, who I actually rarely listen to anymore, every so-called "rapper" on the radio talks about their "bling," money, bitches and all that useless shit! I have trouble getting people who listen to "RAP" to listen to Tech N9ne! But it seems like people who aren't really into rap, LOVE Tech N9ne!
Just thought I'd announce this, it's weird if you actually test this out. My mom, who likes country, rock, and pop, pretty much likes every Tech song she hears. My friends on the other hand, who have been tainted by the suckiness of the "rap" they call today, don't like Tech N9ne! WTF?!
I give every "rapper" on the radio a chance. I'll listen to a few of their songs, i've listened to Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, The Game, etc. Their music is just so, annoying, boring, repetitive, non-creative, unorginal, and predictable. I EVEN listen to some of Lil Wayne's songs when he puts out a new album.
Prozak's Facebook status yesterday: "Underground: creative and amazing music created by talented artists who refuse to conform to unorginality."

tech n9ne makes rap music, given its not what were used to as "rap" nowadays... its rap/hip hop.
Permalink Reply by Brian Sliggs on January 16, 2012 at 12:38am Might've been better 10 years ago, when tech was in that direction, but the rap majors are watching him now and alot of hiphop heads know who is his

Permalink Reply by andy ramirez on January 16, 2012 at 2:24am what you hear on the radio is rap and and lil wayne ect. are rappers .. rap is about parting, sex ,drinking, a crowd pleaser .. hip hop is about lyrics, story-telling, and having a message behind your music. rap has rappers and hip hop has MC's atleast thats the way i see it .. even tech calles him self an MC .. thats why nas put out that hip hop is dead cause theres no MC's anymore all everybody wants to be are rappers

Permalink Reply by The Crazy Englishman! on January 16, 2012 at 8:19am Every rapper talks about cars, bitches an bling, not just mainstream rappers. Those things are wanted by pretty much every person in this society, so when a guy spits about his life, hes gonna mention that hes got em. The difference is, alot of the mainstream rappers promote those things, rather than talk about em.
"If you hate rap being controlled by a talentless gimp in a suit, you'll love Tech N9ne and every other rapper with a bit of integrity"
