I never thought I'd say "that album is better than Absolute Power"...

Call me crazy, but I never thought I'd say ANY of Tech's albums would be more lyrical and just all around better than Absolute Power. Then Killer came out. Mind blown. It was my new favorite album. Tech always tops himself, its incredible. We all know that. But, Welcome to Strangeland has literally blown my fucking mind. The album is epic, flawless. The song "GODS" is just fucking amazing. The shit with Mayday... the whole album is just fuckin gritty... I love it. Its my favorite Tech album ever. And, thats almost hard for me to say. How could I ever say I like an album more than Absolute Power? Well, I am.

what yaw think?

lawl, go on and rage man. I guess I heard all of them I just don't that it's "dumb ass little nursery rhyme shit". It just sets a tone for the album, and I don't see a problem with it. I think you're just bitchin.

its on every song u fuckin idiots..

Hey, wait, everyone's fighting in this thread too?

he added a intro to each song AFTER the album was finished... you can tell (earlier versions of songs like beautiful music/the noose it's absent from)  i think the reason for this is so people aren't able to make their own instrumentals from parts of the songs

anyways for me, Strangeland is my favorite collabo album, but i don't really think tech needs to collab with people outside of strange, i'd rather hear a tech track feat kaliko and kutt over a bunch of people i somewhat don't feel comfortable listening to.

Strangeland is a GREAT album for people already into strange music, but not a very good starter album/newer tech fan album

I like all the intros he did for songs the only one that i didnt like was after sad circus going to noose and i only didnt like that cause it didnt mesh well but actually think the intros are musical genius that rap normally doesnt have

Yes it is.

its not on my favorite..

The intro for Beautiful music I think makes sense though. It leads into tech starting the verse with, "Yates!" Instead of just saying his last name as the first word of a sentence.

i agree

i just felt there wasnt much of a direction to the album other then hey im hot right now, heres a lbum. buy it. im not saying i dont like it. plus there isint a stand out song on here like every other album has had to me. thats why im not big into this album. i think the music would be better if he didnt tour then bam a album, tour bam album tour bam album...

^^ yea you could tell that there wasn't much of direction seeing as there's 0 skits on it, plus tech said all he wanted to do was spit on this album in a interview i forget, but if he had more time i think he would have made it more theme oriented for sure

I can. Every album ever made, by anyone, has songs on it that are not as good as the others.

the album is good.......theres ups and downs.......but its the middle of the pact of his cds.....i can name 4 songs thats arent good...........i cant do that with ap or ang or kod

I agree with you about "Gods" that song is fuckin awesome. Personally I like the little intros on the songs. Some go better with the song than others but I still like them. I don't see what everyone is bitching about, this album by far exceeded my expectations. I like almost every song. And the bonus tracks are good too. Overall 8 out of 10 for me.

IDK this album i had to listen to a bunch of times to like, not that is bad its just a little different.  After a while it grew on me.\
