Not much I can say that hasn't already been said.....tech just feels hungry on this album, and there's such a heavy emotional output, cuz its all his pain and shit he had been goin through for the previous couple years. Its like he held it all in and just blew up on this album with creativity, intricate rhyme scheme, beat selection, everything you need to make a classic album. Plus like dude said, it started a style and movement. I haven't been a tech fan for hella long, but out of everything he's done, I still consider it the best cuz of how groundbreaking it was. His later albums may have been more accessible, but that's what sets anghellic apart, its not entirely accessible and showcases some dark shit, which tech does better than damn near anybody. Anyways, listen to it a couple times, that's what I do, cuz I don't feel I get a full idea about an album one time through
Its like the Marshall Mathers LP of tech n9ne hahaha
His delivery was perfect??? I think out of all his releases his flow is the sloppiest on anghellic

His word choice on that album was perfect..His delivery was perfect..The beats were perfect...At the time he was going threw alot of pain, and on Anghellic we got 2 here alot of personal problems of his..(before all the fame)
dont worry David i agree w/ you.
Beats were wack as fuck.
I liked only a hand full of songs.

I really dont see the big deal w/ Anghellic.

Revolutionary Vol.2 is the best album ever. As well as illmatic. Enter the 36 Chambers. Paid in Full. Criminal minded
OB4CL, MM...Food?

THOSE are classics. I can go on & and on.
Techs stories were good, but really...classic? we use that too much
You're wack

Why did anyone respond to this post? David isn't really a fan of rap plain and simple. Anghellic is an example of Tech at his best
Ill get in on this.......while on one side I do agree with you on illmatics classic stature, probably one of my favorite, if not all-time, rap album, I also recognize how much of himself tech put into anghellic, as well as how unique of a style he created. Nas came from a completely different atmosphere, where rhyming was a way of life, and he took it to astronomical levels for sure.....but tech built something from the ground up, takin bits and pieces of different styles, and creating a distinctly KC sound. For that Anghellic is a classic, for doing something nobody expected

now thats a legit explanation why you think its classic. Thank you. I respect your opinion on it. However, i personaly dont think it is, & its not Tech's Best work. I like your take on it tho.

THOSE are classics in YOUR opinion. All those albums you mentioned, get no play from me at all. I play songs from Anghellic almost daily. YOU dont see Anghellic as a big deal or a classic, but many many ppl do.

So yes, Im gunna call Anghellic a classic, its MY favorite rap album of all time.
