I had faith, i guess i lost it somewhere in time where i can't go back.
I've been in this basement for a couple years now hoping to find a sign of god, or atleast some kind of messege,
because i've seen the diffrences and needs people have around the world, that i have and others dont,
wich just put me in a position to look at things how it is, and not how i read it to be in the bible,
I mean, i do agree with the bible and everything it has to offer, as in good advice, But i can't see how one man can die for the world, and everyone is dieng for this one man thats already dead, and believing in him, I wish i could feel my heart and emotions of love like you guys, cause your much older and still have hearts, i believe..
But i've kind of reflected on what i've seen in life, young kids poor, dieng, etcetera, And sometimes i ask myself, Why am i in this basement right now, And what is the purpose of me being away from the place i was born to be,
But like you and me, we just can't and don't have the power to change others feelings and how they feel about others, im kind of ashamed of what this world has really turned into... so i listen to music, and reminisce on the times i thought where good.

I damn sure aint gonna worship that nigga.....and by all means aint no cult follower but shit if thats what they all think like tech says "so be it" i'll buy the cult follwer sweatshirt and rock it and get beautiful looks out of peoplehaha but its all JESUS in the end we know whats portrayed in his music LOVE AND UNITY for our fellow peers.

I think the pledge is legit, creative, and definitely not a big deal. (: i like it & getting rid of it would be pointless since its been out for so long any ways.

Then Tech N9ne would not be a cult leader, he would be the inspiration of a cult. That doesn't mean he would be at fault, some people hear things differently to others. Like people who hear cult-following and get stuck on the world cult...

I was also trying to tie in the fact that people in cults normalize their beliefs and see no wrong in what they are doing, as well as not being aware of their cult status. I guess what I'm really asking is if you think this applies to Tech fans: are they not aware of a cult status? With all of the evidence going for or against the argument, what do you think??

Also, do you think there are fans out there that have created an actual cult? From what I've seen of Tech fans, I don't think it would surprise me if a news story broke out about a cult surrounding Tech did something stupid.

This is an interesting topic and most people I know don't know enough to discuss it. Glad there is some participation in this.

Well.... we all know its not a Cult or whatever they assume it to be.....so playing a game with god should nOt matter unless we know who this male/female whos calling himself/herself  GOD?????   because if we the people find out the bible isn't facts then like tech says IF HE OR SHE IS LISTENING A MERE SIGN CAN SPARK ME BUT IF THE LAWS IN THE BIBLE ARE BOGUS THAN PREPARE FOR ANARCHY.......WORSE CASE SCENARIO IS THERE NEVER EVER WAS A HIGHER POWER SO IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS NOW THE ONLY REAL SAVIOR IS FIRE POWER.   Enough said.

People are reading entirely too much into the pledge. Just because Tech N9ne wants his fans to make a pledge of love and unity doesn't mean he's trying to take God's place. In fact, the pledge teaches many of the same concepts Christianity does. As a minister, you should know that, Griff. Hard-line Christians can take issue with a LOT of Tech N9ne's material, but seriously? To single out the Pledge of a Technician over any one of the hundreds of Tech N9ne songs which glorify a sinful lifestyle is just...stupid.

 

If you disagree, please explain how any of the concepts in the pledge, which I have outlined above, are "contradictory to spiritual prioritization."

 

For those people who are simply complaining about the Pledge because they hate the "Stans" among Tech N9ne's fans lately...deal with it. There's only going to be more of them as he becomes more famous. Fame breeds Stans and haters alike. You need to learn that there's a LOT of people out there who you won't like but who like the same things you do. Just ignore them and enjoy the art for its own value.
