After I heard "Am I A Psycho" I looked up Hopsin and was instantly hooked.

I'm noticing that I'm not the only person who did so.

I felt like making this my first post.

The one thing I don't like about 'psycho' is that B.o.b. disses Tyler the Creator, and I think it would be cool for Tech and Hopsin both to work with Tyler the Creator.

then you should wait for his next album, he said in some interview he's now done with his old record label and stuff and wants to move on, so the content should be different on his next album.

But if you think he needs to get off his shock value stuff, I'm wondering what you think of lynch, coz he's shock value all the way! and almost every song is about eating people

This. This. This. If he got off that shock value/ humor bullshit and on some real content he'd be so much better. I just don't see it happening. Until he matures i'm gunna keep on my tk when it comes to Hop.

He's ok, I don't get all the hype. He seems to be a Eminem biter in a lot of ways. He's always trying to use shock value and the world is against me card alot like Em. He definitely has skill I just think he is jocking Em's style and trying to piggy back off of that. Definitely has a tight flow but wish he would be a little more original.

the only song i will listen from him is am i a psycho cuz i dont like him that much he sounds like a kid to me

he used to post here a lot, cool cat. cole payan turned me on to him

ya. you were the one that made me go check him out. I bought Raw right when it came out without ever hearing a single Hopsin track. At first, i liked it, but wasnt impressed. I even posted in a thread all the things i didnt like. three or four listens later and i was hooked. Dude is very very talented, and RAW just like the title says. "Am I a Psycho", i think was the straw that broke the camels back, as far as Hop awareness goes. It was on point and now all the hype this site has been giving him should amount to something bigger and better.

You mad? I'm not hating on Hop at all, read my post. I said his style seems a bit borrowed from Em, never said they "sounded" alike. He just uses a very similar formula as far as shock value goes. The shots at Eazy's wife, dissing other rappers (which Em did alot of in his earlier days) and his in general fuck the world attitude. I like his flow and think he's crazy talented lyrically but I just think he needs to step up and be his own man if he really wants to make a mark on the rap game. Just my opinion, calm down.

Goddamn, do you just wait for threads about Eminem or Hopsin to pop up & just to hate on them? Hopsin disses rappers, Eminem hardly does.  Hopsin is against drinking & drugs, Eminem wasn't opposed to it when he first started music.  Hopsin has never said anything to get shock value, I've never heard a Hopsin song where he said something outlandish that would upset people, Eminem does it ALOT!   Hopsin sounds like him on Who Do You Think I Am for one word, "bitch."  Oh their totally similar, one word they sound like each other, call the biter police, Hopsin & Tech N9ne our on the loose.
