How do u know the Bible you read is the word of God when the scripture were written by man?

I understand completely man. I do. With that take on it, you've gotta look at the world also. Money is one REALLY BIG "reasons for suffering and death." Yet, we all go to work in the morning or play the lotto, or go to the casino. And it's all so that we can be financially well off... We've never seen a million dollars, but we know it exists. If someone told us that one day we'd have a Ferrari, we'd be like "COOL!" We haven't seen that car but we hope and have faith that it's there.

One thing the bible says in regard to when people in the olden days were killed or wiped out, it was because they were going against God and said they wouldn't. It's not like they weren't warned that if they didn't act right they wouldn't have to suffer the consequences. That's also a good reason to believe. After you see WHAT God can do or allow to happen in the form of wrath, then you hear that Jesus made it so that it won't happen to you because of your belief, it's a great thing to believe in. It's a sense of hope and a belief that you ARE good enough to God.

Haha! I know I've DEFINITELY thought of that once or twice. I still think aliens are out there tho... I'm weird I guess....

or they were killed because they didn't believe in God's policies it wants to impose on people without question

Yeh. That's no good. Forcing God on people is always counterproductive.

i need 100% transparecy on all the info for discoveries like this. in the mid 1950's the body of a Loch Ness Monster was found and carted off for scientific study, and it disappeared completley from the media....this could def be a hoax. as a buff in cryptozoology and paranormal, i 've learned (as i much i hate to) one has to some degree be skeptical, and always realize a hoax is possible.
another note, some ass holes made a robot of a Loch Ness Monster to swim around the Loch. wikipedia that shit

In my opinion............All of us should have our own beliefs, meaning we all have our "own" relationship with God. Who is to tell who is the most informed on the subject, we are human. If we took a claim, than we would take his glory. The Bible is an account of man through history, whom must have had their own beliefs. It is something you could say God gave us through man, to inquire, and form our own opinion. I find answers more on a spiritual level, using the Bible as a tool to guide me???????? Also to include, I think God gives us all our own gifts to guide us????? sorry, u got me goin. lol Others use it as a tool also, but not in a good way. Kinda like maybe the "religions" are ---- and to be warned that just because someone stands behind the book, doesn't mean a person should lay their life down for them. Good word is good. Evil actions are bad. I will say tho that the one verse, that put me on a spiritual level, I can't find cuz I don't have a Bible, but it's in the beginning of Genesis somewhere, and it states that God replenished the earth.
