As a metal fan, I never gave Hip Hop/Rap the credit it deserved (and it really deserves a fuck load more than it gets) So, I'm at work one day, Summer of '08, and I can hear my buddies headphones, he's rocking The Beast. I was instantly hooked. Started by buying Everready, then started looking up some shit on iTunes (it's hard to find Tech's older albums here, but iTunes has 'em) and been cranking the Strange tunes ever since.
Was heavy into underground music and Absolute power was coming out and my boy let me hear a few tracks b4 it came out and he found a anghellic cd online and bought it and I heard einstein then I heard ima tell and industry is punk from AP so I copped the album

BUT THEN EVERREADY CAME OUT AND BEEN HOOKED SINCE THAT 1
Heard Einstein and Psycho Bitch on Youtube. I was like damn this shit is fire.
I used to be into ICP when I was younger, and I seen a Tech N9ne song on Faygoluvers (it was Psycho Bitch) and it blew me away!! I bought Anghellic and Absolute Power dropped right after. Then I went to a Tech N9ne show (hostile takeover tour with king gordy and project deadman) and that changed my life!! Ive never missed a Tech show in my area ever since..
man the first time i heard tech was so memorable cuz it was the first rapper i had ever heard that i was like damn hes perfect to listen to when im fucked up. It was up at college the one year i went and me and a buddy went out for a hot-boxing session. He was playing I think it was like sublime and I asked him if he had heard of tech n9ne. He played Imma Tell and I remember leaving his car thinking damn that was amazing...been listening and repping him to everyone of my friends ever since.
I was ditching class and my homeboy let me borrow his ipod. He was listening to everready which had jus came out at the time. I had him put all the tech he had on my ipod and started listeing to tech all the time. But it was when my uncle bought me a coulple of tickets to the Strange Noize 08 tech show, cause he saw me buy the Killer album. After that show i was hooked and haven't missed a tech show since.
My brother used to be an ICP fan way back... so the first album I've heard from Tech was Anghellic.... never started getting into his music until Absolute Power.... then once Everready dropped I've been hooked ever since.
5th grade about 7 fuckin years ago(damn) lol my sister told me to come and lisetn to this song (imma tell) and i was like thats sick! thisa is when i started to listen to good rap and less radio bullshit and i asked for the cd and played it all the time (along with rollin stoned -kottonmouth kings too) and absolute power had me hooked, now its been a while have fuckin like 500 hun + songs or something of tech and strange and go to every show i possibly can, i fuckin love techs music I DONT GIVE A FUCK WAT U THINK OF TECHA NINNA THIS YEAR!!!!
i heard caribou lou in ma home boy's party n i was like " dayum whos dat nigga ?" n he said he's tech n9ne, so i just went home n download tonz of tech's trackz
i was actually listening to the the track he did on dj clay's let em bleed the mixtape, vol. 3
the song Let's Ride, tech killed it. after i listenened to it a few times i was hooked.
then i listened to songs off anghellic and absolute power and got even more interested.
once i saw the psychumentary i couldnt stop listening to tech.
and i dont think i ever will stop.
I heard imma playa on my friends ipod n loved it. I had people talkin about him because hes local so i was like shit ill check him our. So i liked that song and i was at my cuz houseputin music on my mp3 and he had killer and i said wtf and put it on there. Listend to it all the time after that. This was when i wasnt really even into rap. Anyways since that day ive been aaron yates biggest fan.
