Story time.
First discovered tech n9ne summer of '06. I was up in the attic goin through shit to see what I was gonna take to college. Opened a box of my brothers shit and there was a spool of cd's that were all beat to shit. First two said ebk and the third said tech n9ne; lower case and slightly faded. Don't know why but I grabbed tech and a bunch more stuff from the attic. Left the next morning for a 5 drive from Portland to Wenatchee Washington. After "my ghetto report card", "east 1999", and "kamikaze" the tech cd popped in (those confused; 6 disc changer). The following songs played. Breathe, devil boy, be warned, stamina, absolute power, tormented, Mitch bade, and yada, yada, yada. The rest of the cd was other artist. I replayed all 8 songs the rest of the trip, breathe was basically stuck on repeat!! As soon as I got to Wenatchee I went and bought anghellic and absolute power. Shortly after "evereready" came out. I was fuckin hooked. Been listinin religiously since. And caught every concert 06.

How'd you get hooked?

ive been listening to tech since i was in 8th grade (26 now)...seems i been on him a lot longer than the majority.  i hope all of you who came across him around 2003 and after have gone back to listen to his other stuff as well. The worst, Calm before the storm.  the 57rdv (RoadDogVillan) shit from back in the day as well.  and i can  only say. he gets better every year.  i listen to every song he has ever put out and or been featured in as if its brand new today.  Georgia's biggest Tech N9ne fan right here.

if u have only heard as far back as angellic and absolute power..ur missing out.  QD3 used to produce a lot of tracks for him back in the day long before he was on with krizz kaliko.  and for those who dont know QD3 is the same guy who made the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air intro theme.

lmfao thats awesome

couple years ago people bumped it in the hockey dressing room greatest rapper ever

I remember the first two tech songs I ever heard were Lets get fucked up and get blowed back around 8th grade (Im 24 now). Get blowed is the one that had me hooked. The only reason I ever heard it was cause one of my best friends back in the day was a juggalo and someone told him to check out Tech. I remember sitting in the room with him when he first downloaded those songs both of us having no idea what to expect and as soon as that beat came throught with Tech having such a clean flow (get blowed isnt really him rapping fast at all just smooth) I was already hooked and at that point I still didnt even know what he was capable of considering neither are fast rapping type songs. Tech has been my favorite artist ever since without fail even through all the years of watching everready keep getting pushed back not being sure if he was ever going to actually release it. Its crazy to me to think of how big hes getting now. I been showing tech to peeps for years but there was a long time where it seemed like me and my friends were the only ones who knew who he was now it seems like its hard to find someone who doesnt know who he is.

I first heard tech when I was like ten. First song was now its on. I always knew and liked tech but never really looked into it. About 9th grade. 2005 my bro had vintage tech so I was kinda obsessed with victory idk y I don't even like it that much anymore but then everready hit the streets and I was like hell ya hell ya badass shit. Always loved his music but when killer hit I was like damn..... it changed my life. Been my fav rapper since.
i heard his music in 6th grade..yeah.
