I agree with this. I hadn't really ever listened to Hop until this site so I checked him out based on all the support from you guys. He's ok but he really does remind me of Early Em. Talking about killing rappers and Eazy's wife and just all of the off the wall shit he would do to people. It's obvious he is the equivalent of a shock jock in the rap game. I think he's talented and I like a few of his songs but he just isn't that great to me. Granted I'm a little older than most folks on this site so it may just be my age but that style of rap really doesn't appeal to me. Also like, early Em, Hop has goofy punchline songs and then this deep, dark stuff which just bugs me. Either be a comedian or a killer, don't try and be both.
