Here's the actual post that started it all in case you haven't seen it. You'll have to scroll up to the earlier comments to see what he said. Hopsin later called him out on it and then things escalated to what they are now.

lol did yall go to novi's artist page the day the beef started? EVERY SINGLE comment was a funk volume fan callin him a bitch lol. he was banning people and deleting negative coments and never said anything till the next day lol. novi is such a bitch about being hated on, and hes the one that started this.

this was a little misleading tho, novi said those like first 3 comments before hopsin said anything to him. then hopsin posted the first one calling him an idiot, and the one saying passion>novi novak. novi posted another status... and then hopsin called him out a bunch more times throughout the day trying to get him to be a man about it and novi never replied aside from a few youtube comments. once hopsin and his fans really started going in on him novi didnt respond to anyone at all that day lol.

Novi talks HELLA shit on Hopsin...before Hopsin even said anything about him. Lol. He's an idiot for real. I'll do every one a favor and quote what dude said..cause there's a lot..

 

Here's what officially set this thing off..."Novi i need ur opinion on this cuz it involves u... i had a discussion a couple days ago with a friend bout ur music nd Hopsin.... I told her lyrical wise ur better but she insist that Hopsin is, in ur opinion of ur self if u wasnt Novi nd ur being honest here who wud u say is better"

 

Here's his response to that... "I have no idea who or what a hopsin is. but I assume I'm better because lyrically no one is touching me. And if they think they are I'll take their style and anally rape them with it."

 

Someone posted a track by Hopsin, and here's his response to it... "lmfao!!! Bro??!?!!?!?!? Are you kidding me.. He's A BLACK EMINEM!!! and he sounds identical to Big Sean?!?! Gtfo sir. No offense to you."

 

Novi again... "even the top comment says he sounds like old eminem with 22 thumbs up. Becuase he stole eminems style and mixed it with Tech 9s choruses. thats not flyin. I wanna smack that guy right now"

Whats even funnier...is Hop has a show in Chicago April 9th. Chicago is where Novi is from. So all the bullshit he was talkin bout how he has no fans...in the mean time Hopsin has a show in his town coming up Lol What a dumbass.

Not after this. Hopsin fans are a lil more passionate about music than novis. Hopsin is gonna start blowin up here soon and novi will still be on the back burner of whatever label he's signed to

honestly, he isnt the absolute worst rapper ive ever heard (terrible hooks tho) but he is no where near good enough to be making those kind of remarks.
