I wanna see a vid. Someone hook it up

Please ?

haha I had to rewind it to make sure it wasn't in my head. Pretty sick. MLB is going FTI

while watching the fuckin zach brown band suck i couldn't help but think how much sicker it would have been if tech could've "unofficially" closed out the tour by opening for the derby. i mean shit, its KC, and tech just got back from making history. would've been perfect.

Home team fans staying loyal - WTG KC!!

"But unlike those trips to Boston, where the booing is a byproduct of a long history of a bitter rivalry, Cano brought this round of vitriol on himself. Cano, captain of the American League’s Derby squad, initially said he’d like to include a Royal on his team, and Butler seemed like the obvious choice.

But then, as Cano explains it, he called Albert Pujols to see if he would participate. Pujols declined since he wasn’t playing in the game, and instead suggested his Angels teammate, Mark Trumbo.

Cano followed the advice of his fellow Dominican, and ended up picking Trumbo for the fourth and final spot on the AL’s Derby team, effectively leaving Butler out in the cold."

It's a joke that KC fans are mad that their guy who is tied for 16th in the AL for homers didnt make the HR Derby. On top of that (even though he's been a pretty solid player in his career), he's a no-name to non KC fans. Cano, Bautista, Fielder, and Trumbo are all household names and proven sluggers. There were many players more deserving Butler him that didnt get picked either.

I from KC, but I'm a Dodgers fan.  I could care less about Butler making the HR Derby, but the fact that you would call Trumbo a household name and a proven slugger is hilarious.

Its a joke that everything has to be explained to you. No one in KC had any ideas of Butler playin until Cano brought it up. Its the way Cano handled it that got him boo'd, not that Butler wasnt ultimately in the derby. There is not a more hated Major League Baseball franchise in American than the New York Yankees. Cano(Yankee) asks Pujols(former cross state rival Cardinal & less HR than Butler) to be on the team. I would be disappointed if fans didnt boo. Agreed Butler doesnt deserve a spot, but if you're gonna toy with the fans emotions you're gonna get taunted.
