Alright, on a more serious note than almost anything ever talked about on this site. How is everyone feeling about the whole earth quake in Haiti? It's rumored that over 100,000 people died, and that a national prison collapsed so a shit load of convicts are out now. I mean, it is in Haiti so I don't see that having a direct impact on us, but still. It's hella fucked up that this happened and so many people lost their lives. Me personally, I would compare this disaster to 9/11.

This is sooooo bad, I'm not empathetic often but Haiti definitely has mine. The country was in an extremely poor condition before this, this will be extremely hard to overcome for them.

The military give handjobs now?

Fuck these kids. I bet all of them are spoiled little bastards who never had to struggle for shit. I am glad that there are still people out there who are apathetic to the needs of others. The military is sending people over there so hopefully they will at least get some relief.

So you guys didn't even answer my question. Lol. When I meant I compare it to 9/11, I meant as a tragedy. Not the amount of deaths. You have to be a cold hearted son of a bitch to not give a fuck about something like that. It's that, or you're just a selfish asshole. One of the two. Me personally, If I didn't have school, I would be one of the volunteers to go over there. I know what it's like to be directly affected by something like this. My uncles restaurant was on the second floor of the Twin Towers. He was hospitalized for over a week, and needed a machine to help him breath for 3 months.
"On January 12, 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, approximately 10 miles from Port-au-Prince. Tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of people are feared dead, as the capital city has been devastated. You can help. Its near cuba.. Its essentially on the same continent as us. North east of south america. Go back to school dude.
I think you meant to say 'wrong continent' haiti Isnt in a country, it is one..
i'll put it to you this way my man,are southern boarder's are wide open,so some of those murder's n rapest, will walk on in,haiti,is nothing compared to 9\11,haiti was mother nature doing her work,9/11 was are old friend's getting back at the cia,bin ladin n crew worked for us n afgan,to fight soviet union, which bankrupted them, which it will do to us,sad yet true
To clear things up about what i said earlier, i said i didnt want to sound like one(Even though i did), I of course feel bad for the people who all lost their homes, family, friends, etc. But we are so far away its not like we can do anything, and i mean as one person, Of course our country as a whole could help. So i try to not focus on that stuff so then i don't feel bad. The only thing i even heard about it was on the news for like 45 seconds. Don't even know any details.
100,000 people died and your going to brush it aside because it was natural. It doesn't matter if it's natural at all, lives were still lost. Do you also realize that 100,000 is a lot more deaths than the 3000 that died in 9/11. I'm not writing off 9/11 like it wasn't important, but how else is there to judge a disaster but by how many people die. Also factor in that Haiti has a population of under 10 million people. They lost 1% of their population. America has like 300 million people so we lost .001% of our population. Those aren't even similar numbers, I personally believe what happened in Haiti is a much bigger tradgedy. But with people in America being as ignorant as they are then most of us will probably ignore this because it doesn't affect us.
