Really good music to chill to. Kendrick is slowly becoming my favorite rapper

how does it compare to section 80? Better worst different??

Very different, but in a good way. I'm not sure I can really compare them because they have very different sounds imo.

hmm loved section 80 had a very real sound to it alot of real instrument sounds in the production. Should be interesting..

Agreed. I fucking love Section 80, that became one of my favorite albums of all time almost immediately. While Section 80 focused on the stories of Kendrick's peers, this album really did focus on Kendrick and the way his peers/environment affected him as a person. He says a lot of very "real" shit that is honestly gonna go over a lot of people's heads, mostly those in the mainstream rap audience. Some people were worried Kendrick would go commercial. Not at all. He certainly stayed true to himself. His track with Drake was amazing, and I'm no fan of Drake. The album is mostly very serious, and in some places pretty dark, but nothing too crazy. It's just a lot of real, personal stories from Kendrick. The production is amazing on nearly every track, pretty much just like Section 80. GKMC is certainly a conceptual album and is tied together very well. I can't say which is better. Section 80 is a classic to me, it's always gonna be one of my top records. But GKMC is certainly an amazing album. End rant.
