yea it kinda sux it hasnt leaked yet. i remember when killer came out i had it like a week before it came out.
It's nice to have the music early and all I just hate it when something from an artist like this leaks. Then u got people that won't go out and buy it bc they already have it which really is not fair for artist like krizz who Honestly deserves the credit and the support of his fans buyin his music.
That argument is redundant. If someone downloads and then doesn't buy, they likely weren't going to buy in the first place. Besides, if it doesn't "leak," it would still be available all over the net as some point.

Not me, sir.
Not me.
The album looks amazing I can't wait to go cop this shit I think its gonna be straight fire. Why are all you wanting the leak so bad just wait til it gets released that is exactly why the game is hurting cause people care about the leak more than the release of the actual alum.
^ Actually "the game" is hurting because its full of trash.
If it leaks cool I'll get that, but on the 14th I'm at Best Buy. Did the same thing with Sickology and Relapse.
Amen. The shit's gonna get out anyways. The only albums I plan on buying this year are Genius, K.O.D., and Rebel (by a christian rapper named Lecrae). Everything else, I'll just download.
I only buy albums for artists that I TRULY support, but if it leaks early, you won't see me pissing my pants waiting for a store to open.

Yes I agree everything ends up on the internet but when u can have the cd before it even releases odds are u won't b there for the release date. Ya maybe everybody on this site will be cuz we truly support but ones who don't care if tech or krizz make it or even strange music will just take the leak and b happy. If they had to wait for it chances are a lil better of someone buyin it. And there are release dates for a reason... Just my opinion.

Again, if they're the type to download the leak and be happy with that... they're not going to buy regardless. It leaks Thursday? They're going to download it on Thursday and not buy it on Tuesday. If it "leaks" the Tuesday of release, they're not going to be all "Well... this shit didn't leak, guess I better go out and buy today." They're just going to continue to wait until it leaks.

Leaks effect nothing. Those who buy, are buying because they want to, those who download and don't buy, are doing so because they're broke and/or wasn't buying in the first place. If anything, downloads are a good promotion tool, it was the foundation of the F.T.I. movement. It allows that person who has never heard of Kaliko the chance to be, "Hm, Genius? Sounds interesting. Lemme download this leak right quick and see," he never would have ran out to the store first day, but he may hear the leak and suddenly decide he's a fan then "run out and support his artists."

Garbage music and a bad economy is what's hurting the music business, not the internet. Besides, like Tech has stated the last several years when asked about his albums leaking, "if you're leaking, it means people are looking for you."
