General Misconceptions of Tech N9ne
So, I've been meaning to post this for awhile now. I just wanted to talk about some of the general misconceptions made by newer Tech fans. Of course, the main topic being that Tech N9ne is actually a group of rappers. And you all know how bad we (as life long fans) bash new comers when they make this misconception. Well, in reality, we shouldn't be doing that. In 99% of Tech's most popular songs, he has Kutty, Krizz and usually someone else on the track. So, these new fans that hear all Tech's popular songs, are hearing the same other voices on the track as well. I think its obvious why this misconception is made, isn't it? I mean, say a new rapper comes out; and all his popular songs feature the same group of rappers. Wouldn't a lot of us assume that these new songs are from a group? And the name "Tech N9ne" in-itself doesn't exactly scream "solo artist". If Lil Wayne had a different name that wasn't so directly solo, I bet a lot of people would assume that Cash Money was a group, instead of the reality that they are a label. You see what I'm saying? I just think we should be more ... friendly... to new fans. Simply explain why they are wrong. Not ALL new fans deserve this treatment of course. If their favorite song is "Ima Player" or "Caribou Lou"... you still have my full permission to e-slap their momma.

whenever Kutt makes an appearances he's credited as being featured. Krizz not always i get tho.
But it doesn't make sense if they think Tech N9ne is a group... COZ WHO WOULD TECH N9NE BE TO THEM?

the biggest misconception that Tech is dealing with now is fans thinking he is going industry...when in fact he is simply in a different place in his life, so his music isnt as dark as it use to be. every album changes with Tech's personal turmoil...for example...KOD is dark as all hell because of what he was going through at the time, his mother and issues with fans being the main influence...Everready was mainly what you would call "club hits" (even though they are hard as hell) because he was celebrating his life and the fact that he didnt die on the Montana highway that has taken many lives in the past. Tech will forever change his image and music with his life experiences and i think that fans should embrace that rather than shun him for being happy with his life...

i think its because tech n9ne doesnt sound like one person, the name i mean lol. anytime i mention tech n9ne people ask if its a dance group lol. maybe its because of the n9ne and the picture 9 members i dunno.

Tech is 5'8 i think cause when i stood next to him he almost reached my shoulders and my moms 5'8 and he looked the same height as her so yeah he's kinda short. And i thought tech was like 4 years clean now.

I agree sir. But collabs have never been a big hit. Too generic for most. Sickology is my favorite cd from strange though so oh well. People will always bitch. They wanted mixed tapes. He gives them collabs and its not enough. THey want darkness, he does KOD. Still not enough. Tech's fans will never be happy.

Yeah. I've heard in more interviews from him that it was from the oxy's that made him quit but like you said many stories. But he has been "clean" for almost4 years i think.
