So here's a story/rant. I ran into Andre Nickatina at a bar tonight in Chico. I am a HUGE Nickatina fan, so when I saw him I obviously was like WOAH NO WAY!  So I went up to him and was like "Dude, can I get a picture with you?". And he said "Yeah hang on 5 minutes." and I was like "oh yeah no problem dude". So I came back literally 15 MINUTES LATER and said "hey so 10 minutes ago you said we could get a picture" and he responded with "dude fuck you go fuck off". For real, Andre is not really relevant outside of NorCal. So if he can't take 30 seconds to take a picture with one of his biggest fans, why should I take 30 seconds to pay for his music? Straight unbelievable, feedback welcome. I understand that he's trying to enjoy his night, but if he tells a fan to come back and then blows him off, then that is fucking rediculous.

Honestly. I thinks its bitch made to say that to a big fan. Its not like cole was bugging him all night. He just asked him once and he told him to come back and he did. So I lost respect for him. I woulda socked him up no joke
Sucks for you bro , I ran into kobe bryant at the airport and the nigga payed my light bill
what a bitch lol doesnt appreciate that the fans are how he got here that faggot needs a reality check
damn that's fucked up. Imagine if Tech was that way. That would really suck
If he woulda been like "nah bro sorry im just chillin" or something like that i woulda been like "aight dude enjoy your night" and that would have been that. the fact that he was like "sure give me a moment" and then blew me off was messed up

Bro, I can't blame him. He was just tryna chill. If you want that, then go to a show.
exactly. especially an underground rapper who is basically a no-name outside the west coast

My homey threatened to beat Nickatina's ass at his own show like 6 years ago for the EXACT type of attitude he showed to you Cole. He wasn't happy with the turnout at the show when he first arrived and he was a salty bitch to everyone the whole time. Nick Peace and Mike Mike were cool as hell though.

Artists need to remember they need the fans more than the fans need them.

Fuck artists that don't have the time for their fans. Totally fucked up to lead you on like it's cool for you to come back then to shove it in your face like you'd been bugging him all night. He's a douche.
My friend went to the Nickatina show that rolled through Boise a few months ago. It didn't sell out, and my friend said his attitude sucked. Said it seemed like he didn't even wanna be there just cause there were probably 100 tickets left in the box office. I mean, I can understand maybe being a little bummed your show didn't sell out...but don't take it out on the people who actually paid to come see you.

Im not saying your story is a lie a fully believe that shit happened but I feel like there has to be something more to this for him to act like that Ive seen Nicky a few times and I met him once and he was cool as fuck when I met him and I seen him perform to a well under capacity crowd and he still gave a hell of a performance and didnt seem pissy about it he still threw it down for the people who did show up. Maybe you caught him in a bad mood about some personal shit that has nothing to do with you and you just happened to be the unlucky guy who tried to talk to him at that time.

When I saw Andre Nickatina in concert at The New Oasis in Reno back in 2008 we all waited hours for him to step on stage. The opening acts were allowed 45 minute sets each (which were all horrible might I add). When it was finally time for Andre he limped on stage in his purple silk outfit with a cane and hat to match and proceeded to scream his vocals into the mic for 15 minutes without moving around much and had little stage presence whatsoever. In reaction to this the crowd (including our group) stared at him awkwardly wondering if he was actually going to advance to the good part of the show. But this never happened and apparently he took it personally because he then had the balls to shout "RRREEENNNOOO" followed by a waving middle finger before he left backstage. So let me get this straight... I paid $50 (which was roughly $20 more than an incredible Tech N9ne show at the time) to sit through 5 lengthy mediocre opening acts before finally getting to see Andre Nickatina annoy the fuck out of me for a measly 15 minutes? Let's not forget him flipping the crowd off and acting like it was our fault that his set was so god awful. I haven't been a fan of his since. I will occasionally listen to a few of my old favorite songs of his from time to time but that's as far as that ever goes.

FUCK ANDRE NICKATINA

I'd be scared to go to a Nickatina show because it seems like he hates cameras or something when people film him on stage. I think on a youtube video he kicked someone's camera or grabbed it or something lol. So either he doesn't appreciate his fan base or he dislikes people getting some footage of his concert. Tech N9ne and Strange Music artists seem to be the most down to earth artists and take their time to meet w/ the fans, autographs, pics etc. from what I've read. can't wait to meet Tech! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J517hbG90v4

THIS

Especially when cats like Cognito rip the stage up better than I've ever seen him before in front of literally 15 people. This happened about a month back because the promoters fucked up the bill for the night and put him on at 1:30 A.M. when everybody had already left for the night. I talked to him before the set and he was very upset about it. But did he act like a pompous prick and put on a shitty show? No, he busted his ass on stage and even gave a shout out to the remaining group still in the crowd for staying out to support him. That's a real artist right there for you. Some of these rappers carrying around that Hollywood attitude with them everywhere they go seriously need to check themselves. If it wasn't for the fans supporting their music in the first place they wouldn't even be where they're at today.
