Prison Break started out decently, but I thought it slid a little downhill after the first season, same with Heroes... good concept, just poorly executed.

I LOVE sereial shows. Ones with good stories, writing, characters, etc..
When they are done right they are awesome.
Here are some of my favorite serious serial shows... and I implore that anyone who hasnt seen them, check em out.
Pretty much any HBO series... Have yet to see the Wire though I hear good things about it.
Six Feet Under (Drama oriented, but great characterization)
Supernatural (Monster hunting show, but the overall plot is great, and it is well executed)
Dexter (Seasons 1 and 4 are amazing)
True Blood
Breaking Bad (Phenominal fucking show, once again, great characterization)
Dead Like Me (Out of all of the shows I like, this may be my favorite. Check it ou if you've never seen it)
Veronica Mars (Well written mystery show)

I like comedy shows as well like The Office, Parks and Rec, etc.
Glee is pretty funny, and I usually get shit for admitting I like it, but I do... so fuck off!

Here are some old school Nickelodeon shows I liked.
Doug, Ren and Stimpy, Pete and Pete, Salute Your Shorts, Ahh, Real Monsters!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
and cartoons I currently like, Simpsons, Futurama, Cleveland Show, American Dad, Family Guy, South Park, Aqua Teen

I know there are a lot more.
You guys grew up watching some of the same shit I did.

Famil guy,cleveland show,simpsons,law and order svu

I miss teenage mutant ninja turtles,ghostbusters, tiny toons, all the old nicktoons (ren and stimpy,aahhh real monsters,o.g. rugrats,etc),gargoyles I only say i miss these cartoons cuz the shit my son watches aint got shit on the shit i used to watch lol
