I'm all for listening to new shit, and I prefer underground artists. So I was just wondering who everybody else's favorite rapper/rap group was that nobody else has heard of but yourselves. (Or at least not many people) Basically, I just wanna hear some new stuff so throw some names, songs, or videos out there if you don't mind.

I'd have to go with Prof for my favorite rapper, and Soulcrate Music for my favorite rap group. Prof is a little different, but he is crazy talented and unique. You can download a lot of his music right here..

Keep it comin' everybody. This is awesome.

Well for the people on the first page I really dont think Aesop fits the bill. Ya he pretty underground but he has a huge and very dedicated following. I know he gets a lot of hate and some people on here know him cause Tech was on his album like 5 years ago but Okwerdz from Stockton Ca is pretty dope. He mainly a battle rapper but his cd was pretty cool and his mixtapes are pretty dope.

Yeah i know Aesop has a good following, as do most of the artists on Rhymesayers.  Ive just been listening to his new album a lot recently and figured i'd post a track since i thought there was probably a good amount of people on this site who have never heard of him.  And Tech has ever been featured on one of his songs... at least i've never heard of it and couldn't find it anywhere

Le$ for those who enjoy Texas hiphop, I love the beats he raps to alot of chill ass type beats, heres a few of his tracks, ones that I like alot

This thread just introduced me to a bunch of new talented artists to check out...thank you.

I've posted about him before because I think he will only get better over time, but I will again for those who haven't heard.

He has a new project coming soon as well.

I'm pretty sure he meant Tech was on Okwerdz song not on an Aesop song. He just didn't transition the sentences right. I may be wrong though.

For all those who love political rap like me this guy Payday Monsanto is very high on my list. An educated rapper who demands an open mind to truly appreciate his message and talent.

Tech N9ne Speaks On R.A. The Rugged Man, ‘Holla-Loo-Yuh’, Not Giving A F*ck [VIDEO]

When it comes to emcees other than Tech N9ne that are quick-spitting, hyper-intricate, and actually have something to say, it’s pretty much impossible to leave R.A. The Rugged Man’s name out of that short list, so it comes as no surprise that the hip hop Gods eventually brought the two together. On “Holla Loo Yuh” [...]
