*NOTE*

I AM NOT ACTUALLY PROPOSING THIS AS A REAL IDEA.

I just thought it would be cool if we composed kind of a list of rules that we would like tech n9ne to follow while making an album, while still trying to give him all of his creative control. Again, not actually saying we print this shit out and mail it to tech n9ne, but it'd be cool to see what we come up with.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basically we don't limit tech's creative control like this; We don't tell him what to do, but we tell him what not to do. The last thing we would want to do is push him around creatively, i think we can all agree on that.

EXAMPLES:

We can't tell him who to feature on the album. But we can tell him who NOT to feature on the album. Just so we don't end up with "fuck food 2 ft. gucci mane and soulja boi"

We can give him a wishlist though. A list that we know he will read, of artist we all agreed upon that we would like him to concider, he is by no means bound to that list though.

We can't give him a maximum amount of time to work on the album, but we can give him a minimum amount of time. Example; take at least two days writing each song.

"no songs about the topic of _______"

I think you guys get the idea. Let's start proposing ideas to each other and see what kind of outlines we can ultimately come up with.

Going in...

First thing i have to bring up is the 'Sex' Song debate. Its very controversial some of his best / worst tracks are sex tracks.  I saw somebody say if the sex song isn't unique then it should be left off the album.  Take a song like KJOMD...Its a very unique concept, i haven't ever heard anyone else do a track like that.  But that's probably one of my least favorite tracks I've ever heard.  Its safe to say that i HATE that song. Also Fuck Food same thing...unique but its still not a very good song.  Now take a song like Sex Out South, it really ain't that unique of a track but it stomps almost all the rest of his 'strictly sex' tracks. Therefore you can't simply claim that if a song isn't unique don't put it on the album.  Not to mention a good portion of his music IS sex tracks so if you take that away from him you might end up with even less quality music (you know like about twitter and shit)..

As for the 816 Boyz debate I wouldn't be sad if i never heard another 816 Boyz track again.  I think most the time its a waist of a good spot on the track-list roster that could have been filled with a dope ass track.  No offense to Tech N9ne but i just don't think humor is his strong point in music.  Plus all those songs really lack replay value. Areola was a complete success but its time to stop dragging it out.

As for the idea that he needs to wait 2 days from the time he writes it to the time he records it is kind of weird....If anything i think he should have to wait 2 days after a track is recorded to determine whether its album quality. But honestly that wont prevent crappy music from being on an album..  Hes stubborn as shit after he got all those negative reviews for EBAH instead of admitting maybe the music wasn't that good he still claimed that its 'Beautiful music' we just can't hear it the way he does..(non-nonsensical bull shit).  I think what he needs is a good critic in the studio, straight up i think he needs somebody with good Tech N9ne taste to critique his tracks before he can put them on an Album. It would give him time to either revise the track, or save it for bonus material.  Shit after awhile of doing this he might have a nice collection of unreleased tracks that he could utilize.

The one artist i wish Tech N9ne would have a collabo with on his Album is Ludacris..

dumb idea in my opinion

Good thing noone asked your opinion.

I wouldn't mind luda. I think he's a smart enough man not to come soft when he's on a track with tech n9ne.

also, @ Techaniac..... LOLWUT.

Fuck off you fake. NO ONE AT ALL said anything about dark music before you brought it up.
