if you asked this question a year ago you would have been flamed and every response would have been eminem. no idea what has changed in that time. And i have no idea how anyone could possibly take Lil Wayne over Eminem, its crazy. Eminem is just barely under Tech imo

Well, since your an avid Eminem hater, or as I like to call it: A willingly closed minded individual, I guess I'll just point out that

The bum on your lips thing was actually a pop culture allusion to tom green's bum song which was released around the time "The Real Slim Shady" song came out.  It was kind of a shot at Tom Green, not so much as a "look at what i just thought of and am doing" thing on Eminem's part.  A Parody if you will.  But, none the less, I see your point why that can come across as "retarted"

Depsite that, there is so much more substance in Eminem's music outside the cliche shady singles, whether or not you classify it as "good" or "acceptable"

Oh, and also, don't get so pissed.  what "goes hard" is confined to the preference of the individual.  So the fact you're telling someone to not use their logic and tastes to contradict themselves in order to define what qualifies as good taste while dismissing that Eminem "goes hard" because of something you don't feel fits the definition is just one clusterfuck of hypocrisy.  Nothing against you personally, Im Just sayyin...

Yeah because people listening to a bleached blonde kid dressed up in a superhero suit singing "my bum is on your lips, my bum is on your lips" aren't mentally retarded because that goes "so hard." Get out of here with that BS. You contradicted yourself. It's fine that you like Em better, your opinion bro, but don't use that kind of logic to defend it.

lmao, for anyone to say wayne goes harder than em they must be a tad bit mentally retarded (no disrespect to your gf bro) but if you know rap, the history of rap and admire passion, emotion, flow, and lyricism eminem goes harder without even thinking, i like wayne but hes more of a feel good rapper, listen to him when your like "fuck yea!" lol ya know? eminem u listen to when your like alright lets listen to some crazy shit, if weezy was on his "skys the limit" shit all the time it would be a different story, or his "no quitter go getter" shit, real talk thats a great song, but em, lol NO BRAINER

slim all day

Lil wayne isn't even in the same category As em. On drop the word em kills it on no love em kills it lil wayne sucks compare To em.
wtf? em hands down
No matter high in regards I hold Weezy... I'd still have to say Em simply due to the fact that his pain can literally be felt through the vocals that emit from my headphones. Sure Wayne has a variety of raw songs that take you through his life's trials but he's never actually took me on a musical journey so far into his despair that my heart skipped a beat because I could relate so much. Both of these MCs make my list of all time greats but when picking a champion of genuine heartfelt music between the two I have to give it up to Slim Shady all the way.
First off, I appreciate the mature response. Alot of times on here you just get cussed out for your opinion with no explanation. While I am an Em hater I also realize and admit how talented he is, I just don't feel most of his music. He can change up styles with the best of them and his wordplay is amazing at times. By biggest beef with him is he can't figure out who he wants to be as an artist. His early stuff was all over the place from comedic nonsense to songs like "Stan." Now he's hanging out with Elton John and doing songs with Rihanna, He's kind of a schizo in that regard. Wayne has amazing lyrics and for the folks that say they don't make sense, I hate to say it but you just are either not smart enough to understand them or just not listening hard enough because you already are a Wayne hater. To each their own but I think Wayne is much better than Em.
