They put Gucci Mane #6 and Eminem wasn't even on the list. Plus Tech blows the whole list away. Kanye #4??????? WTF. What do you guys think? Can we get a real hottest MC's list please?

That was a real list. Hottest Mcs isnt rated by best lyrical skill, its who is the most well rounded players in the game with record sales, popularity, improvement, relevancy, and business. For the most part, the list was on point, except for Eminem not even being present, considering he made his comeback this year.
well on that list they fail to define an MC

but WTF Drake ain't even an MC, still don't hate on Kanye, he's a fag, he's a total jackass, but he's talented as fuck
Last time i checked Drake was a rapper....
Drake was high on that list because he's the new Lil Wayne. Dude has been everywhere the last couple of months, Lil Wayne is behind his giant push, the industry is expecting a lot from this guy, and overall he's the new hot topic in rap.
last time i checked drake was a singer. not a rapper.
YOU DUMB FUCKING IDIOT.

should have been "most popular". hottest is definitely the wrong word to use. fail list.
Drake has talent cause he's the only guy signed to wayne that doesn't need autotune to sing but he should stay away from rapping and lil weezy
i think thats the lamest shit ever
Seriously though, MTV dont even count. They are so fucking lame. They cater to teenage girls and shit. So they should be makin a top alternative or pop list and stay the hell away from rap cause the only people they recognize are mainstream artists. I admit some of the mainstream artists are tight but not the tracks MTV shows. Coochie Mane errr.. Gucci Mane is so fucking wack by the way.
This is wht jay zs gotta say haha, an mtv explain how its rated an y eminems left out the list

Jay-Z Reacts To MTV's "Hottest MC" List
October 9th, 2009 | Author: Slava Kuperstein
Jay-Z recently shared his response to MTV's "Hottest MCs In The Game" list, which had the Brooklyn rapper at the number one spot.

Hov, who beat out artists such as Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and 50 Cent, was appreciative of the vote of confidence, but openly questioned why Eminem was not included on the list.

"MTV, Thanx for this nod of appreciation," wrote Hov in a statement. "Although I don't strive to be 'hot' for any particular year, I thank you for the acknowledgment. My whole goal is to be recognized as the best ever. I created the term 'best rapper alive' as a sign of respect to my fallen comrades (Biggie and Tupac). I believe I've allowed a significant grace period, and I believe I would not be respecting myself if being the absolute best was not my goal, and that's why I continue to push myself until exhaustion ... salute. Sidebar: Kanye moment if I may ... Eminem?!?! I think you do the credibility of this list a disservice if you don't thoroughly explain his omission. As of this second he has the highest selling rap album of the year and a scene stealing verse on the best 'posse' cut of the year . (*Hands mic back to Taylor Swift ... and nobody was harmed, I apologize in advance.)"
MTV elaborated on Eminem's absense from the list by explaining that after releasing his highly successful comeback album Relapse, he spent the entire summer (June to September) working on Relapse 2, whereas other rappers "generated week-to-week heat with mixtapes, guest appearances, performances and Web activity."

MTV also clarified that the decision was made prior to the release of Drake's song "Forever," which featured Eminem, Lil Wayne and Kanye West.
