ya i got my ps3 because ive always preferred playstation over xbox. i do enjpy xbox but all i play on it r exclusives which is basiclly gears n halo, all multiplatform is on ps3, free online, better graphics, bluray, went thru 2 xboxs since theyve came out n have had the same ps3 from when they came out n hav had nothing go wrong with it. overall ps3 is the better option imo, does piss me off that its bn 8 days now i need my socom fix

I think they should have made sure the network had good security in the first place.Even though it got hacked im still sticking with the PS3 it's overall better than Xbox IMO.Sony > Microsoft.

true overall ps3 is better tehn xbox but if u want to play games (i mean thats what its made for) xbox 360 beats ps3 in a every expect fall just little behide in graphics its all good though.

Thankfully my PS3 has been collecting dust for a year, and my Xbox is doing just fine. Can't think of a single reason why I would even use my PS3 over my Xbox

PS3 is definitely a better machine than xbox. But I choose the xbox because way better games, and way way way way way way way way better online community. It used to be only $50 a year but now its $59.99 a YEAR. Thats not bad considering i have not had any problems with xbox live. Since the smaller black xbox came out I have not heard anyone having a problem with it yet, I have one too and it works perfect. Not to mention the Kinect is pretty fuckin cool and way better than the sony motion thing. All that together makes the xbox better.

Blu-Ray is the ONLY way to get full 1080p video. Not knocking the Xbox, both have pluses and minuses, but I wnat to push my TV to its full capabilities.

Xbox games become unplayable after becoming severely scratched from over use of games and Blu rays don't thats a big reason why I got a ps3

had the ps3 sold it, missed it, copped the new 360 still have it and wasnt satisfied in comparison to how sony was with their shit so i was gonna sell my new sexbox n grab the ps3 agian. But since all this bullshit it aint even worth it. i promise you soon psn will be a payed service just like for the 360. ill take my chances with it until the next gen drops. sony fucked up point blank, period.

Sony is rebuilding the servers. Once it's up, it will be top notch. Should of been in the first place. Don't let this throw you off. Xbox Live has been hacked once or twice too. After this debacle though, no way Sony starts charging for PSN. Not only will they not risk the extra bad publicity, it's a big selling point.

im not sure sony has never had a problem charging a high price or charging for stuff at all. I wouldnt be surprised if they put out some we need you all to pay so we can put the money into developing a better secured network or something i dont know not really sure it just wudnt surprise me if they did though. they put out a good product no doubt better then microsoft like i said but. i will go with sony next, it just wont be until new gen. unless they drop there asking price for there systems.

I've had my 360 since launch, and i have never had problems with a game being scratched. No idea what youre talking about

I think he's referring to the scratch resistant/anti-static coating they use on Blu discs. Either way, severe scratches fuck both of them.
