Or B: a gimmicky rumor that's been kept alive for attention purposes.

Of course he still worships the devil. Watch him throw up the horns in all his shows and interviews, his devilish appearance, the snake (like the devil) and bat (creature of the night), his songs about following him into the darkness (kod, cult leader), even his "good" songs are about partying and sex obviously leading us all into sin. Isn't it obvious??
