It definetly met expectations! The more I listen to it the better it gets!

For me tho it's just behind Anghellic and Everready.
yes! i love the album
Not one person mentioned Killer in this discussion.  Killer and Everready are my fav Tech albums.  But you can't expect the man to make the same album - he never does...which is why is the best.  It's different than any album he's put out before and I think that's most imporant.  Oddly enough, on the first listen I wasn't loving the shit out of it but I still play the thing every single day on my to work and back....its growing on me fast.  The fact is he is light years beyond anyone in the game as far as overall talent and song quality.

All 6's and 7's was great, and tech is showing the world how good he has been for a long time. I think this album will really open doors now. WWC,Mental Giant,Cult Leader,Technicians, those were my favorites.

I think it did live up to the hype, however you wanted the Eminem collabo or we even heard nas possibly. Which is my only complaint and snoop dogg was incredibly off beat. Also more krizz kaliko, and kutt calhoun.

I would disagree I thought You Owe Like Pookie was on of my favorite songs. Kutt Calhoun, and Jay Rock spit some lyrical fire.

So..would of liked a nas collabo, snoop stunk on his verse, more krizz kaliko, kutt calhoun. Hopefully this where strangeland comes in.

Also off topic but is tech still planning on releasing a Worldwide Choppers and So Lonely music video like he said he was doing it in the latest interview.

It was "You Owe Like Pookie" away from perfection.

I think I'd put Anghellic and KOD ahead of it, but by next to nothing; Am I a Psycho? is one of my favorite Strange tracks already, more Hopsin please.

It absolutely hit the hype.

I believe it lives up to it overall, yea.  Only "complaints" on my end was The Pledge being done twice (Military skit actually could've been the intro and made a great segue into Technicians), and that aside from Fuck Food, the sex portion was kind underwhelming.  Not totally wack, and I know Stone, Kutt and Jay all had to be on the album, but Pookie and Overtime were the two weakest tracks on the album.  Pornographic makes three, but no way in hell a track featuring Snoop and 40 is going anywhere.  I Love Music...the hip-hop feel, the lyricism, the live instrumentation, I can't for the life of me agree with the majority that don't like the song.

Overall, if they had to keep the album as is, could've kept the Intro, ditched all the skits, and slipped one more great song on there.

I don't know if its his best album or not,( I haven't listened to anything else since I got the album though) but there was a lot of anticipation and hype for this album and Tech delivered without a doubt. Can't wait to see him Live June 18th, at the Cat Box in Santa Cruz.

Yeah but I still like AP and Everready more but A6A7 definately a dope album.
aboslute power is his best album ever.. hands down.. this album was fuckin awesome tho.. you owe like pookie is almost my favorite track
it was aight way too many features tho it kinda felt like maxtape
yep a lot of features but it's all good,he used them for EXPOSURE,tech can handle a whole cd by himself, everybody knows that...i put all 6's & 7's in the same category of Everready and Killer
It depends. The anticipation on these boards was insanely high. I didn't expect perfection, and the cd wasn't perfect. It is a good album and that's what I expected it to be.
Ill have to wait awhile to see where it ranks on my favorites list.

hated the skits. the pledge and military shit really gave it a stupid feel for me. should have just left those out.

but im in love with so many songs on all 6s and 7s...overtime, delusional, fuck food (somethin we havnt seen yet), so lonely, love me tomorrow, etc..so many great songs.

so id say it lived up to the hype. but im not ready to put it over KOD and Everready
