I'm talking about Eminem making fun of pop music acts like Britney, Christina, N Sync, etc. and now he makes songs with pop artists (Rhianna) for pop music radio...he used to be about Fuck the World, I'm gonna make my own music. Now he caters to the fan base he used to make laugh at...yeah, I really can't wait for the Eminem/Justin Bieber "Baby" remix, that shits gonna be hot...whatever man, Eminem is a phony!!!

Thats ridiculous, he was in his mid 20s or so when he blew up and i bet you he would tell you he matured alot mentally after quitting all the drugs and shit so yeah its gunna change your outlook on shit, as far as alienating his fans, thats fans alienating the fuckin artist, people just wanna hear him talk about rapin his mom and killin sluts forever. Same shit with tech, everybody wants to hear dark shit all the time, id rather have an artist be real than put on an act to keep shallow fans around

I agree 100% with Jay. This is why I don't like Em either. He can't decide who he is in his music. I realize he is extremely talented, probably one of the best to ever do it. But, I just can't get past his split personality in his music.

I respect your opinion, but we're just gonna have to agree to disagree...I personally think he's a hypocrite for making the same kind of music he used to shit on, even if his verses are still sick.  I don't need him to keep making the murderous music, just stick to your principles.  If you say you hate pop music and talk shit about the artists who make the music, don't switch up your style to pop just to attract fans.

Lol im down with that, need more people like u on here to discuss instead of just hate when someone doesnt agree. I guess my last point will be that he disappeared for 4 years, people can change alot in 4 years, and I dont think he changed his style to cater to anybody cuz hes always had radio hits n shit, I think hes just writing how he feels. Recovery shows nothing but growth and progression as far as his music and his life

Thats the truth, as far as mainstream rappers tho there are alot that deserve to be there and are very talented, but there are alot that dont deserve it and have little to no talent as well, kinda like stupid ass commercials, i always wonder how people buy into that shit, how can the majority of people be so easily swayed just by what they see n shit, crazy
