I really liked the album Automatic but I think Cognito decided to leave strange because he didn't feel he had the time to promote automatic since strange wanted him to release a new album about every year

so he left one what was said to be creative differences

still wish he would do another one though cause I really liked it and is one of my favorite albums that has been released on strange other than tech's stuff

He had a one record contract..album didnt sell very well..didnt get re-signed.

Strange CEO Travis O'guin answers that question right off the bat in this interview conducted recently...

This question still isnt really answered. The recent comments on the situation from Travis completely conflict with what Cog said right after he left.

Do we need to know every detail of this story though? We heard both sides. There was a falling out and now they don't work together. Cognito is still putting out records and so is Strange. You can still support both if you wish to do so.

Do we need to? No. Do we want to? Yes.

Tech N9ne Speaks On R.A. The Rugged Man, ‘Holla-Loo-Yuh’, Not Giving A F*ck [VIDEO]

When it comes to emcees other than Tech N9ne that are quick-spitting, hyper-intricate, and actually have something to say, it’s pretty much impossible to leave R.A. The Rugged Man’s name out of that short list, so it comes as no surprise that the hip hop Gods eventually brought the two together. On “Holla Loo Yuh” [...]
