Basically, he said that he left because he did not like the way they promoted the artists and their albums. Most labels push an artist's album long before and long after it drops. With Strange, they will push it before but they move on to the next artist's project soon after their album is released. Also, they dont promote the artists as individuals as much as he liked. For example, instead of having a big Krizz tour before his album dropped, he only had a couple of stops. Another thing that made him want to leave was the situation with Born To Be Fly. That song has had a lot success in the U.S. and overseas but Strange did not capitalizie on the opportunity. Cog thought that there would be a similar outcome if he had another song with the same kind of potential. And, by the way, Im summarizing this so it may seem like he was criticizing Strange but he really wasnt. He knew that his fans wanted to hear why he decided to leave so he wanted to tell them. He was very respectful and kept saying that he wasnt trying to talk bad about Strange in any way.
He talked a little about what Anarchy Nation was but my computer was jacking up at the time so I didnt really catch all of that. To me, it sounded like a future independent label and website where any rapper or producer can promote themselves. Its going to help independent artists can all get together, release music online, promote themselves, put their music out, or whatever. I wasnt too sure on what he was talking about but he said that he was still working on the details and he wasnt going to fully address it until he does figure out all the details.
Let me reiterate that this is what I remember from watching it last night and I was doing other shit while I was listening to him talk so I might have misheard something or some shit like that. So if you really want to hear exactly what he said, just listen to the video that Cole posted above. You really only need to listen to the first video and its only like twenty some odd minutes long.
