Permalink Reply by Anthony Longo on July 9, 2011 at 6:30pm Tech's just expanding on the continued pain and issues in his life. Things as serious as some of the topics he touches on are hard to shake and ongoing. I don't see how you could say that "those songs are just the same shit" when Lynch has recycled his dark fantasies within his albums his entire career. I love both projects but if somebody's going to start a comparison there really isn't one. Tech relays his life in different lights with each new album he presents us. Lynch does as well but much of his recent content is crossing over into the state of overkill. Not only the themes but lyrics as well. The difference is that Tech continues to progress and bring out fresh lyricism while Lynch seems to refer back to rewording played out messages. Just my take on it though. I don't expect everybody to have the same opinion.

All of these songs are shared with us from Tech on a very personal level. I enjoyed every single song we were given on the whole cut in it's entirety. The versatility is off the wall while still staying true with incredible music at the same time. I'll agree that CHS is a great album and showcases some of Lynch's best work to date, but to say that it's more personal and real than A6A7 is absurd. A6A7 was 100% Tech and easily takes the top slot for album of the year (possibly decade) already.
- Strangeland
- The Boogieman
- Cult Leader
- Delusional
- So Lonely
- If I Could
- Love Me Tomorrow
- Mama Nem
- Promiseland
- F.A.N.S. (Forever Accepting N9ne's Soul)
- Face Paint

Permalink Reply by ЖĭϞϬ ƦΔϟŦԃ on July 9, 2011 at 10:01pm Really? Tech may have similar subject material, but it's different specific events in his life that he writes about. Yes he writes about the industry. Before it was trying to get in, then it was fuck the industry, now it's the industry showin' love. He writes about similar topics but prevents them in different ways. And this music was drastically different production-wise compared to anything else he's done, and much more musically diverse. That's progression to me.
But even if that was all wrong...you're saying Tech is repeating himself, but Lynch hasn't been? LOLWUT?
