If you havnt heard yet, C-LIM posted on his Facebook recently that his verse got cut from Brotha Lynch Hung's "The Coathanga Strangla" album. It was a verse were he once again disses T-Nutty. Lim explained to his fans that Tech N9ne, Dave Weiner and Travis had a sit down and decided not to use his verse given the reason that they could not figure out how to line up his verse with the song and the other verses at the same time..seems a little funny to me. Lim also explained that Lynch wanted him on the album and turned in the verse himself. I personally feel that C-Lim along side with G-Macc & First Degree the DE complimented the album as Lynch served us that Ripgutt shit and gave us that cinematic feel with the album!! I was always under the impression that independent also meant saying what you want or putting out what you want in a song. If this is a Lynch album and he wanted Lim on it...ehem. well. let me just stop right there in case there was a real good reason I just dont know about, cuz I'm having a hard time believing the one they gave.......what do ya'll think about this? I'm curious to know your opinions...

Independent label or major label, at the end of the day its still a label. They have to make decisions that are for the greater good of the label. Putting out a diss to someone they have worked with is not in the best interest of the label. It has nothing to do with censorship and everything to do with good business. Bottom line, every label, big, small, whatever, they all do it.
This. And it's an annoying amount of "nigga" and he trips up in the middle I think if I heard correctly. It's just bad.

The only thing i can think of is that 'How does a diss track fit into a concept album?', which fits into Strange's reason for cutting it.

i wish the album would have NO skits and NO features (except maybe on the hooks)

just dont see how if this is the verse he sent how it fits the cd. if its even the verse. could be different if c-lim and g macc arent on it cause i thought they was sort of in the story line.

I don't know why this is a surprise to people. I know everyone likes to think "oh there a indie label that lets there artists do w/e they want" they don't. I remember watching a Cognito Ustream and him saying how twisted love and i just wanna fuck didn't make his album cus Tech took it off.
not true. Cog asked Tech to choose the 17 songs he thought should be on the album. those songs didnt make the cut because Tech chose other songs in their place. He didnt pick them because he thought other songs were more deserving of being on the album
