It's Official! Ces Cru is the newly added addition to the Strange Music roster!
Permalink Reply by John on January 11, 2012 at 9:27pm yeah I actually share the same thing about everything, but Prozak i think will probably stay... Hes been around for years and I think many people are expecting his new album. But i really dont know if an Independent label can handle all of these new artists... I dont have any numbers this is just an opinion but maybe they got a little excited with all 6s and 7s, the thousands of new fans spending money on tours, techs new position. Once again im just speaking my mind...

Mayday will put numbers up..they had a following prior to signing and gain more fans on the daily..Ces Cru is on the rise and undoubtedly one of the best signs Strange has had in my opinion,I 'd be willing to bet money that they will remain and do very well on Strange Music,Looking forward to a release from these guys. Steve should do well,he's gained alot of respect as a person and as an artist through the inhabitants of Strange land, not sure if he had fans prior to signing.
Prozak probably wont last..He has fans but to me he dosent seem like Strange material...
John said:im just a little worried... i mean with all these recent signings (stevie stone, mayday, prozak and now ces cru) i think they should at least drop some singles from the artists. Because if these artists go bad in terms of sales and everything else, could the label be able to overcome financial losses? That is my question im a business student from another country sorry bout my english

at some point yeah sign these artists but for now they need to start releasing new material asap from the entire roster! they can release a compilation cd of previous, new and unreleased songs like a double disc cd put one or 2 songs from each artist's then add the unreleased and new songs to it like death row used too release!

So youre saying you want Strange to sign all these people? God I hope that doesnt happen. The label is already packed with a bunch of artists, they dont need that many more. Anyway, I think this was a good sign. I havent heard much from Ces Cru besides the features theyve had on Strange projects but from what ive heard ive enjoyed.

Permalink Reply by RedTom on January 11, 2012 at 11:23pm Congrats to Ces Cru. IMO they are the most talented recent Strange artists. That being said the lack of promotion is VERY evident. I can't help but think of what happened to Cognito.
