Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the EP. I thought it was pretty good. Some pretty dope stuff on it. I still want to listen to it a few more times before I decide which tracks are my favorite. Thoughts, opinions?

I disagree on the statement saying they are developing they're skills.. Yes they will continue to grow, but they are not 'new' or 'up and comers' by any means. Godemis and Ubiquitous are both int they're 30's or at 30.

I feel you but I don't think comparing Ces to Mayday is fair lol. i personally loved this EP. only listened to it once full threw so far but i look at it like, they're still developing their skills and this is just an EP. for their first Strange release, it left wanting more from them so mission accomplished.

I kinda agree, after Colosseum and Klick Clack Bang I thought it was gonna be awesome front to back, but there were a few tracks where the beat and/or hook kinda lost me. But I still liked most of it, Tempus Fugit, Colusseum, Klick Clack Bang, Peter Parker and Time Is Now are all dope imo. It's Over is good, I like the verses for One Bomb State (except Info Gates), but I didn't really like the beat or chorus, so I'll probably end up skipping that song. I don't really like the hook for Livin' Life either. But I definitely think Thrift Store Halos was consistently great so compared to that, 13 isn't as consistent imo. Still a good EP though, don't regret buying it, can't wait for an LP.

It was ok nothing special after I herd click clack bang I thought its was going to be hella dope kinda let down a little bit but I was still cool

Unless its entirely produced by "Lenny Dstroy"  it won't sound like the playground, I think he will have a couple tracks on there, but the majority will be Info, Seven and SmartAlec

This all the way...I do hope that the next LP sounds more like "The Playground" but I'm glad I picked up "13". Their style & lyrical wordplay isn't for everyone, but that's exactly the point....I don't want everybody on the label to sound the same

Ubi is the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its real coo.. tracks 1,2,3,7,8 are my picks. Klick clack bang an Time is now are my favorite. some of the beats are weird though. UBI IS COLD BLOODED MAN. Their only gonna get better.. Yes Sur

I'm going to listen through the tracks again.  I shouldn't be so quick to judge it.

^ Damn, you're pretty obsessed with me.
Good for you.

couldn't agree more. I really feel that Strange is more stacked with talent than any other label. I know this is TRTN and our opinions can be seen as biast, but especially with the addition of Rittz, I don't see how you could argue different. Big things are coming.

13 is an excellent release whether you like it or not. Ces cru's musics strongest selling points are, from what I've gathered are their flows, word play etc...(not to say they aren't good in other departments of music) and they executed that very well on this ep and I enjoyed it. Mayday's best attributes are their unique sound, emotion, diverse concepts. What I'm trying to say is strange music didn't have to choose only one of the two acts, as they bring different things to the table and they are both really good at what they they're good at. yh?

Listened through about 6 times now and I didn't listen to anything before I heard the whole EP from start to finish. With that said I had no idea of what or how it may sound and I loved it, the whole thing was dope as hell. Without having heard any I think it made the whole EP better to listen to, the beats were sick, lyrically they killed shit, substance was on point when you pay careful attention and not look at the literal of what's being said. Great EP, so glad I pre-ordered it before it dropped, never disappointed with a Strange release!

Actually it does. I could say something in a metaphorical way to describe something, I don't literally mean what I'm saying, it's an example to describe something else, however what would your infantile brain understand about that eh?

OK I'll make sure I pay attention and not look at the literal of what's being said because that makes so much sense

Firstly, nice attempt at an insult just because I have no picture to my profile, how was that going to offend? I didn't say a metaphor so how can something not said make no sense? To put it simply, it can't. Now lets not get in to an English debate because you'll just look stupid. However I must point out I made no reference to similes, I'm aware they are describing something using "like" or "as" but I didn't mean that, I meant metaphorical and was correct in saying it. I didn't confuse them which is what you're trying to imply, what I did was actually show that I know English better than you by you not understanding. A metaphor actually isn't a "direct comparison" either, it is something that on some level is being asserted to have comparison to something completely different. However I like that you're trolling game's improved since I commented on it. Keep trying, eventually you'll wind someone up, unfortunately it won't be me.

Well technically speaking that metaphor made literally no sense. If you look at the literal lyrics objectively, one must must be careful not confuse a simile with a metaphor. However you could consider the fact that all language is a metaphor because words are just labels we use to describe things. And remember a simile is used only describing something with like or as. A metaphor is a direct comparison. But thank u for the English lesson Mr blue face. Because prior to your profound review of this ep none of us here ever understood how to listen to music we always thought every lyric to every song was meant to be taken literally and we weren't supposed to really pay attention to it

So I wrote more? Big wow, clearly means I had more to say or I was wound up right? No you're wrong, it means what I had to say just so happened to be more than you did, funny how that works out. Nice try to back peddle, of course you tried to make sense or you wouldn't have replied in the first place. I wasn't trying to sound smart, I was pointing something out and you latched on to it like a breast fed baby does a nipple. You want to talk shit then be a big boy about it and actually talk shit instead of being outsmarted trying to outsmart me. SMH you fail at this so badly.

After writing more than i did. i know it didnt make sense i was making fun of ur attempt to sound so smart by telling us pay attention and dont take it literally. then explaining what a metaphor is. and i dont troll i only talk shit to people who start shit with me like yourself. and i realized u cant post anything about anything without someone talking shit. and if u have a blue head u get made fun of. thats the rules
