An artist has to evolve.

God forbid anyone has a different opinion or musical taste.

Lol it's cool to know there's a couple old school lynch fans in here. The ones that are not stick out like a sore thumb (a tie a)
Juggalos are lynchs main fan base now a days which are also tech n9ne fans. To claim lynch by inch is better than loaded is fucking nuts. You want a sick flow? This is sick flow and lyrics.

That's the old sick flow every old lynch fan misses.

This is coming from a huge ass lynch fan with a lynch by inch tshirt and signed framed lbi poster in his living room lol. Ima give him one more chance on his next album or I won't be buying it. I will buy mannibulector though just to support. Hopefully we here the plague 2 or midevil or some other unreleased songs.
So any news on lynchs contract with strange?
Which Lynch hasn't done since joining Strange

Lemme start by saying I enjoyed a lot of Dinner and a Movie. It was never something I bumped regularly, but I could dig the album. Then Coathanga Strangla came out and while there were a few standout tracks, most of the album blurred together as Lynch was saying pretty much the same thing on every song (most of it having already been heard on the first album). The only difference was I felt the production was less diverse than that of Dinner and a Movie. Now after hearing Mannibalector (not a thorough listen but good enough) I feel the same way I felt about Coathanga Strangla. Lynch is generally saying the same exact shit he's been saying for two albums. Not only is the general subject matter the same, but I've heard Lynch refer to himself as Jason/Michael and the phrase "niggas nuts and guts" repeatedly over the course of three albums. There's also more reference to pedophilia on this album, soooo yeah. Take that however you want. There doesn't seem to be a point or serious direction in not all, but many of the songs, aside from Lynch rambling about killing/raping/eating random men/women/children. But I will say the production is top notch. Rob Rebeck and especially Seven are very good at adding an ominous and theatrical or "epic" feeling to their music. And there are a few standout tracks, but not many. And I've never sensed or recognized any sort of story throughout any of these albums, so I'll just remain lost on that. Overall I feel this particular style Lynch is fucking with was cool for one album, but it's really gotten old. I know it's supposed to be unreasonably grotesque and disturbing, but killing/raping/eating kids was just a little too far for me. I don't even have kids, it's just too much for me.
Ok, rant over.

So the fuck what if I'm not an old school Lynch fan? I never claimed to be. And I'm familiar with One of Us. I've heard a few tracks from The Virus, and unfortunately I felt the production wasn't very complex, which is something I look for in production. Which is why I enjoy Lynch's Strange album, they have much more active production in his tracks that fit him well.

And yeah I personally feel Lynch by Inch was better than Loaded. I already listed the tracks I really enjoyed from that album, whereas on Loaded I like much fewer tracks (though I still listen to Situation quite a bit). So what, don't need to be a twat about it

He does have a different feel to him now that he's with Strange. For better or worse I guess.

his flow has evolved for sure. i was playing Lynch with some friends who listened to his older stuff who didn't follow him close, and they were really surprised when he started spittin'. They said it was clean but didn't have the old Lynch sound to it, so it's all a matter of perspective

Lynch has been very repetitive sense his stay at Strange but I think he did that just following the story. If you look at how each album is set up he seemed to intentionally make them kinda match each other. Couple lyrical songs, some real dark beats, some kinda dark but more on the wierd side beats, not really dark beats and 6-8 skits.

I'm not talking about production from stolen tracks which the virus and the appearances were made from. I'm strictly talking flow and lyric wise. Lynch flow has changed quite a bit and for the worse more or less.
*goes back to listening to "The plague"*

I might be kind of late on this, but I was just reading a lynch interview on mannibaleter and he touched on that little beef him and tech had a while back. And supposedly lynch had went to a gun range with a friend and the friend was shooting at tech n9ne targets. It was a good read but I never knew exactly what was going on back when they had that beef situation.

yup i agree on most of this and also thats why on the songs he mentions kids they bleep it out when he says killin kids and for the story i didnt get one at all if he wanted to make a story album he shoulda looked at Coheed and Cambria cuz they have had like 6 or 7 albums with a really good story the vids made a story im just pissed off that krocadil is the last one cuz it was not really a great ending imo the album ending was unexpected the way it played out though
