Just figured I'd put up a post on this-not trying to segregate(believe me, I'm so against that bullshit), but I figured that it would be good if Tech stopped in and saw a list of fans of his who were American-African/Black/whatever you want to call yourself. I was just watching a recent interview with him, and he said he'd speak on the issue on K.O.D., but IMHO, we have a lot of close minded folks in our community. This isn't blanket statement as much as call out-no disrespect at all to GLBT folks(and this isn't a backhanded diss, but a point to the more phobic people out there), but how the fuck are you going to give Lil' Wayne a pass for kissing Baby, but you're shitting on Tech and calling him a "devil worshipper" and all this other bullshit?Back to the topic, though-post if you're black and a Tech N9ne fan, or just want to speak on the issue.

But fuck them I'm a nigga and I fuckz wit Tech, my niggaz kno he's a gangster from off the Turf out here.
That nigga Tech put some seriouse work in out here, before he even started rappin for real.
LONG LIVE DA MOB SHYT, and it wouldnt be the same wit out tech
THANK YOU. I never understood that. Tech has NEVER rapped about the devil and and all that like Triple Six, yet black folks love 3 6 (as do I, they are my 2nd favorite rapper/rap group behind Tech), and Tech is called a devil worshipper. It makes NO sense at all.

I'm black and I love/respect Tech's music the same way I've loved and respected The Beastie Boys, Milkbone and later Eminem's music since 99'. Shit, niggas didn't stop listenin when Three Six Mafia and Lord Infamous was talkin about pitch forks and devil worshipping back on "Mystic Stylez" and "The End" but why won't we listen when Tech says "Who the hell is Satan and why I gotta be him?"
People saw Tech's red spikes in the beginning and ASSUMED he was the devil or said what the fuck is this nigga on?,when he was just being creative and separating himself from the pack. He said in an issue of MurderDog that he used 2 be a pretty boy with waves and all but no one would listen, yet when he let it all hang out and up, he couldn't ask for LESS attention. Crazy world we live in ain't it?

I feel where you're coming from, I respect U for speaking your mind. For years I haven't understood how people just judge Techs music without really listening 2 it, yet they'll listen 2 some of the lamest music that comes out on the radio. Personally I don't listen to the radio anymore, I haven't for years now. I'm not saying all radio music is bad, but sometimes I don't even understand how some music got air play. When it comes to music some have to be more open minded, I myself have a collection of over 300 artist of every genre, if something is recommended to me I'll give it a chance & check it out I may or may not like it but I'll give it a chance.
Not going to read any of this cuz I dont want to but in response to your thread title, the person that got me into tech is black. my ex was a tech STANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. big 6'7 black boy from a rich neighborhood lol took me to my first tech showwww

Im black and i think tech n9ne is the dopest rapper to ever touch the mic and it'sriduclous that people down him. i mean half of what these other rappers talk about you can't relate to, with tech you feel he understand yo pain.
