It sucks that Big Scoob was the only person that didn't appear on Strangeland. I know hes sick and Irv said he went back to the streets. I asked Krizz Kaliko about him at the California Santa Clara meet and greet and he said that Scoob was out doing his own thing. I thought that no filter was an awesome e.p. and that it was cool to get a look into Scoobs deeper side. I really would like to hear at least one more full length album from him but i don't think that we will. Are there any other thoughts or info on this?

Permalink Reply by kansascitycat on November 30, 2011 at 11:09am I can say this about Scoob's situation.....Every man"s life and family are not built to have him away for long periods of time . Scoob's situation is different and he knows what his family needs right now and that is his presence in K.C.

strange music wouldnt be as real if they made thier artists' go on tour, and/or didnt let them do what it is, they feel is the next step in thier life. and when they aint making shit for record sales and constintly touring under Tech, what is a G ta do? if you listen. kutts been talking about that shit. scoobs been done with rap before. so yes, much love prayers and praises to the boss hog. i hope your health is restored, and that you and the rest of strange artist make it through the struggles of trying to beat this secular world order denying them and thier music the right to be heard. real music for real people. fuck a clone and/or a puppet! fti. and to the athiesm, why would you willing to believe that nothing created this universe? just because he ignors our insignificant generations? why would he wanna be apart of this nation after all its done to keep him down and out? just because a few white men have twisted him into "religion," should mean you should believe in nothing. that just makes it easier for you to do the devils bidding. lol oh snap ive done it now. the hate bregade should be on the way!
Permalink Reply by GreatScott on November 30, 2011 at 5:15pm This thread was supposed to be about scoob, not to bash god. people forget, We sin against god everyday so if something bad happens lets not cry about it...alot of you doing the whining are the same ones who dont follow the way you should. Nobody is perfect, i'm far from it...and you dont necesssarily have to follow god to have good things happen in your life, but if you dont follow him and you expect him to just give you everything you want and need and not expect one thing to go wrong...then your delusional...God is with you no matter what.....you'll find him one day...Hope everything is good with scoob. Everyone keep him in your thoughts and prayers "If thats what you do"
i like Scoob but he doesnt sell....i think monsterflick and damn fool only sold 1500 copies a piece! Which outside of cognito is the worst sales for ANY strange album. Scoobs combined sales of 3,000 doesnt measure up to the rest of the label with Tech selling over 150,000 copies an album, Lynch selling 40,000, Jay rock and Krizz selling 15,000 a piece. its obvious Scoobs not making any money! especially after taxes, features, producers ect..

Permalink Reply by RtotheK on November 30, 2011 at 9:29pm Here's the thing about big scoob, he is a monster and can command attention when he is on a track. From the days in 57 RDV's, the MLK collabos album, sickology, and of course his solo material...while he is dealin with liver/kidney failure, he is tryin to put time in with his family, and really raise his faughters. His album Monsterifik is a really Adult record, not all parties, and flash there's some real shyt on there "breath again, reflektionz, only know hard, d boy, brand new day" those songs are him bein real and talkin as a man who wnet through his own struggles of tryin ot juggle street life & family, tryin to be a man & a father.....alot of ppl dont get how deep some of his stuff on the first album was...the 2nd album had a few good tracks, but there were alot of skits on it too....Scoob is still a part of Strange but isnt sure where or what he will do. He doesnt like touring because it's hard on him, his family, and his health...he doesnt get as much luv as he deserves from the crowds (same as Kutt, as well as former artists & associatesSkatterman, Snug Brim & BG bulletwound , Grave Plott) kind of hard to make the right money with how things in the industry are....if scoob drops another album it would be dope, especially cause he has stuff to talk on. the 'no filter" ep. was dope, and he said alot of what was on his mind. If scoob is back doin street work then he's doin it cause he feels he needs to, but I dont think he would do that to his family his album.
Maybe if 57 RDV's put out another album it could be dropped through strange? but we will see whats goin on in 2012. Hell there might be a new incarnation of nnuthowze (BLH, Tech, icy Roc, Sundae, Krizz) we will see what is coming.
