I have a few, but probably "Where Is my Mind" by The Pixies. I don't listen to many of their songs, but that song was with me through some times and the lyrics are so nice. On top of that, the way the sounds blend is really nice to me. I listen to so many covers of it. It has so much range it can be used for.

On a serious note...Bob Marley "Natural Mystic"....there's a subtle aggression and urgency behind its lyrics and tone,that's rare in lot of reggae..
