K&S and TMTYL are my two favorites. yes, probably a strange music bias, but it's the two albums i enjoyed the most lol.
Alos, i haven't listened to kendrick's album yet, so i guess my top two could change if it's as good as everyone says it is. But i thought Section 80 was way overrated, so i'm not in a giant hurry to listen to the new album.

Permalink Reply by darktwisted on December 18, 2012 at 3:59am On a side note, I love Kendricks Album. Truly one of my faves this year. What I don't like about it is the hype. All of a sudden, all (wannabe) journalists praise it as a classic and must-have-2012. Even in our "cheesy" newspapers, it's getting a lot of attention. Like they just put away 2chainz, Simple Plan and Nickelback and act like they've been down with Kendrick forever. What really bothers me is their argumentation... lines like these: "Good Kid m.A.A.d. city is a must have in 2012 because Kendrick manages to put out a classic without the *blingbling" and *b*tches/money* talk. Oh my god. I mean, I am happy for Kendrick that his album is doing so well and gets much props. Well deserved! But this "cheesy" hype by the press is kinda turning me off. Of course this doesn't make me love this album any less, it's really dope! Just my 2 cents.
