I haven't listened to that album.  I only heard thrift shop and I thought it was goofy as hell.  In my opinion the best album goes to Kendrick Lamar, Good Kid Maad City was really dope.

It's worth it, I guess the best way to put for you is it's not a whole album of "thrift shop's" Kendrick's album was dope af too though

Right on I'll have to check it out then.

macklemore

kendrick lamar

mayday

chino xl

Big K.R.I.T.

nas

xzibit

the game

i'll have to think and see what else came out this year. are we counting digital albums as well?

I'm sayin anything you consider worthy of being good enough to top out your year. albums, mixtapes and eps.

My top 5

1. The Hiest - Macklemore
2. Good Kid mAAd city - Kendrick
3. White Jesus Revival - Rittz
4, Take Me To Your Leader - Mayday
5. The First Agreement - Dizzy Wright

Rap:

1. Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid Maad City

2. Macklemore - The Heist

3. Styles Of Beyond - Reseda Beach

Rock:

1. Linkin Park - LIVING THINGS

2. P.O.D. - Murdered Love

3. Stone Sour - House Of Gold & Bones: Part 1

good kid, mAAd city and control system

Saigon- The Greatest Story Never Told Chapter 2: Bread and Circuses

The only track by Mackelmore that I like is White Walls. That album was way overhyped and I'm from Seattle where we get no exposure so it was great for us but none the less the album was good but not album of the year worthy.
My vote goes
Rittz - Revival
Nacho Picasso - Exalted
Jesus Piece
Kendricks
Big Boi's

call me crazy but I didn't see how Kendrick's album was a classic and all that. It was a great album but I thought there were better albums (Order doesn't matter)

1. Chino XL

2. Mayday

3. Brother Ali

4. Vinnie Paz

5. Lupe Fiasco

Best album this year was "Killer" by Tech N9ne
