Permalink Reply by ₡₱♛ on August 31, 2011 at 9:12pm Yeah the Giants got fucked hard with a spiked bat dude Lol Look at it this way, Brian Wilson can finally shave that goddamn beard and we can stop hearing about it :D
Permalink Reply by Colin P. on September 1, 2011 at 1:35pm i didnt say they didnt have a lot of injuries. I looked at that same list. I just said not a lot of "significant injuries" only three 60-day DLs. The 15-day dl means they are pretty much just dealing with some pain. Pop some norcos and get the fuck out there. Thats what i did when i played baseball a month after breaking my ankle in the basketball season. In the middle of a playoff race, if you are goin on the dl because of a sore foot, i question your drive and mandhood. lol. i dont watch the giants games very often but i do follow baseball and actually really like Big Timmy Jim. Having said that...Go A's =) (arent you from the east bay?). And it sounds like your players need to stop beating their meat so often! way too many sore wrists. I know SF has a lot of lesbians so it might be hard for them to get the box, but c'mon man! haha
also that roster is not current. still has rowand and miggy on it.

uh i can tell you dont follow the Giants that much lol. the injuries to wayyyyy more players than that have downgraded our offense to shit and our defense has fallen too. the Giants have used the DL more than any team in baseball this season. since you wont take my word for it, here is a nice graphic i found. its a little old, but it gets the point across.
idk why it has Zito and Romo as outfielders lol. That list doesnt include the recent DL/other injury time to Wilson (again), Eli Whiteside, Pablo (again), Nate Shierholtz (again), or Pat Burrell (again). And the hitters that have come back from injuries aren't all 100%. Beltran's wrist is still bothering him every time he swings, Pablo can't hit from the right side because of his wrist, and DeRosa's wrist will almost certainly need career-ending surgery after the season.
So if you took this explanation and still think that I'm trying to say that Scott Cousins ruined the Giants season, and that injuries have nothing to do with the offense sucking, then I question your knowledge of the game of baseball lol.
Colin P. said:so youre saying Scott Cousins was your season breaker (no pun intended)? haha cuz Derosa, Posey, & Sanchez were the only significant injuries to offensive players. Derosa is back, and Sanchez wasnt exactly an offensive powerhouse. So basically Buster Posey's broken ankle in May was the reason the Giants will not repeat?
Permalink Reply by ₡₱♛ on September 1, 2011 at 2:41pm i can tell by your numerous joke comments that you realize that my points are valid lol. did you even read my whole post? lol i said how it wasnt current, hence why i added comments of even more injuries that the picture didnt address. obviously it wasnt going to have a roster move made like an hour before i posted. and yes im from the east bay...what does that have to do with being a Giants fan? The easy bay is filled with Giants fans, I never see anyone wearing A's apparel.

Permalink Reply by Colin P. on September 15, 2011 at 5:28pm anything with mass that moves against another object with mass creates some level of friction. But leather itself is not rigid enough to hold form, during the heat transfer it takes to create a spark in a split second collision like that. It cannot transfer an incandescent particle without some sort of heat source being applied to it. Metal on Metal is very incandescent and can easily create that particle(spark) with no heat source just friction.
and yes i saw that other play. Im a A's fan so i happened to be watchin that game. That was crazy too! Just shows you how much of beating those catchers take.

Pretty much any thing can create friction dude. Thats what happened. But did any one see the foul ball that was hit, and got stuck in that one catchers mask???? That shit was funny
