First, let me introduce myself, I am Sara Ellars, I am a Strange Music Blog Contributor. Now that is out of the way, I am currently looking for some Fan Feature stories! What is a Fan Feature? These are stories that go on the Strange Music blog that are written about the fans of Strange Music who credit an artist with Strange Music has done something to touch their lives or one of the artists have that has helped them in some way through their lives.

You can find the fan features here http://blog.therealtechn9ne.com/tag/fan-feature/

Think you got something for me to write? I would love to hear your story! What I need you to do is to pm me here, or email me at saraellars@gmail.com, tell me a bit about your story, give me an email where I can contact you and I will start answering anyone who sends me their story. I will try to do every story that comes to me, as long as it is a story.

If you got questions, let me know, I will do my best to answer.

Thank you for your time! I look forward to hearing from you!

You mean Mac Miller?

Macklemore's 3x platinum single "Thrift Shop" is all independent dollars.

It's not trolling, any time I've seen a blog it's been a case of "kid lipsyncs Tech N9ne, let's make a blog about it" or something as lifeless. That's as far as fan features go. The only interesting blog I've seen is the one about "Macklmore: The Making of an Independent Fraud." but that was removed like a day later.

Damn, people tryin to find fans with an interesting story to share and you just troll the hell out of the woman. Smh. You guys know if you ended up on that blog no matter how good the writing was or was featured on SM social media you would walk around king dick for a day. Lol. Maybe after this upcoming tour I will have a story to share from that VIP meet and greet.

Ah yes, yes I do mean Mac Miller. MackleMackMacMackleMcdonaldsMillermore

Sorry Sara, I've already got a Fan Feature about me.  V_V

http://blog.therealbrothalynchhung.com/2011/02/fan-appreciates-brot...

Nice!  Don't be sorry! You did what is the purpose of this thread already =) Happy to see it! I've got a few unique and interesting stories building up, I am excited to write about them and get them out there.

Of course, if anyone else has something they think should be on the Fan Features, let me know! I wouldn't mind a big list of them!

STILL slippin' from the CunninLynguists collab. Ya'll posted shit about Kutt's collab with some unknown band Black Oxygen and talk about trivial twitter posts, but when a critically acclaimed and renowned independent hip hop group holds a poll on their Facebook about collabs for their next release, and Tech is not only nominated, but a winner of the collab polls with a number of hip hop legends like GZA and Masta Ace, ya'll slept on it? Cmon now, don't make me agree with Siikez

Told you. I'm not trollin' when I say what I say. The blogs (at this moment in time) aren't worth following. They would pass up a huge story like the CunninLynguists collab for "Toddler dances to Tech N9ne" or "Random dude we found on Facebook says Strange music changed his life" some other boool shit.

Ok this is why people would say that you are trolling. Back to my first post, I said I write Fan Features. I explained, these are stories of people who feel their lives have been impacted in some way by a SM artist. You may not like these articles, that's fine.

I do not write the type of articles you are talking about. That is not a fan feature. I do not write those articles. Those are handled by the guys in-house. I'm not in KC, therefore, I'm not in-house, therefore, I do not write the real time stories as what you are talking about. I am simply looking for fan features as I have said many times. So maybe now you have an understanding of why I have to skip over your suggestion and ask for the fan features.

Another thing, you may not like the fan features. Which is fine. But if you can read my post again, I personally think that Fan Features are important. It is a great way for SM fans to let the artist know on a personal level their their music is important. That their music does mean something. I think that is important.

I'm sorry that I cannot write a story based on your suggestion, but I'm not just blowing it off. I just write fan features and your suggestion is not a fan feature. That is something the guys in-house will take care of when need be.

A fan-elected poll that chose Tech as the winner of the CunninLynguist collab doesn't fall anywhere under fan shit? Ok lol. Here, feature this instead. Headline can be "Large Talentless Woman Attempts Tech N9ne Song". Right up your alley.

Tech let me rap Worldwide Choppers with him at the SD lost cities tour show, and I have video of it, that was when he solidified himself as the best rapper alive in my book. not sure if that's a big enough story.

lol i cant say a whole lot about any of strange's artists totally changin my life is that tech and the almost whole strange music crew (Excluding A Couple Artists Like Young Bleed And Skatterman & Snug Brim) had some serious influences on my music and techs albums have helped me alot through the bad times

What's up guys,

I'm Vic, Strange Music social media/digital marketing. Just wanted to chime in and address a few things.

First, yes, Sara is just a blog contributor at the moment who is handling Fan Features for us and doing an exceptional job. I can understand that in the past we may have bombarded the networks with fan features, but I feel that in recent months we have found a pretty good balance of news/fun posts/fan features and I have made sure that we pulled back significantly on unnecessary posts to lay down a foundation of quality over quantity.

As for Fan Features in general, I do think they are a very important piece of the Strange Music online community because it not only highlights our incredible fan base, but also connects our fans to each other and to the artists. That is the most important aspect to me and the department.

News posts, we do our best to stay on top of the latest news posts and have been credited by multiple sources as being one of the most consistent and comprehensive blogs out there dedicated to a single entity. Are we capable of missing some things? Yes, totally. Do we intentionally choose to not post things for certain reasons? Absolutely.

In the case of the CunninLynguist collab, I personally never heard a word about it and if they didn't tag our entities, it's pretty difficult to have your eyes on everything all of the time. As it is, 3 people cover a lot of ground managing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TheRealTechN9ne.com, and various other networks. We do our best, but sometimes things will simply fly under the radar.

Our top priority is giving everyone something they can enjoy and a place to come to for all of the latest news. Between collab reports, exclusive interviews, exclusive audio, contests, editorials, and fan features, I'd like to believe we do a good job. Of course, I always welcome suggestions and hope that put some things into better perspective.

EDIT: Found it. Send it to Sara's e-mail man. http://www.therealtechn9ne.com/forum/topics/my-lost-cities-tour-sto...

I remember you posted this in a different thread. You went into more detail. Send the story in. It was a good read.
