Whats goin down besides ur panties everbody???Naw Im just fuckin with u all,but before we get into this discussion or should I say (gospel) sike!!!
allow me to introduce my self.Its the 1 and only DUKECITY SPECIALIST.
I am new to this site but by no means am I a rookie!!! Ive been listening to Tech N9ne for roughly about 11 years and since then Ive become a pillar of the community.When I am not at the shelter handing out hot meals to the homeless u can find me walking the streets rescuing poor and defenseless baby mommaz from thier jealous jeffories.
But enough about me for now,back to the subject at hand!!! ARE U A FAN OR A STAN??? Thats the million dollar question of the day folks.
Now for those of u that have been living under a rock for the past decade or for those of u that fall under the classification of a (TARD)
lemme elaborate.A fan or supporter is someone who develops a liking(no homo) and enthusiasm for an artist,sportsclub,trend etc...
Fans tend to favor their favorite artists product over other artists but at the same time a fan can become critical and dislike certain things about thier favorite artists.It is normal for a fan to offer props and praise while at the same time offer criticism.Now a stan on the other hand is a fan x1000. Stans have a clouded judgment when it comes to thier favorite artist.Stans become obsessive and resort to idolatry.This way of thinking can make a stan believe that thier favorite artist is infallible/immortal or the messiah for that matter.Latching on to every piece of work that an artist puts out and convincing themselves that everything they touch is certified diamond,even when they know deep down they dont like it.Think back to eminems song Stan for a perfect example.Now some ppl are tech fans but I have witnessed first hand a few tech stans.Not on this site though because all of u are perfect.But judging from the way some of the stans act u would of thought tech ran into a burning building to save thier asses from certain death or maybe he let them claim his kids on thier taxes last year.Are u fuckin serious ppl??? Wake up stanleys Tech is a normal person who shits and pisses like the rest of us,although he is more talented than most hiphop srtists ive heard I realize he is human.Do you???Which one are??? u Fan or Stan??? Discuss.And if I have hurt any1nz feelings during this wonderful bit of prose feel free to diss.It makes me feel special!!!

I used to be a HUGE stan, back when I was into the hardcore juggalo scene. That was like 7th grade though, and I began realizing that being that attached to something is dumb, and the music wasn't as good as it used to be, so I began to spread out musically. Now I am a fan of a lot of different rappers, and a lot of different types of music. I'm just glad I grew out of the Stan days. First step to recovery is admitting there's a problem. That's what I did.

I'm a STFAN.
I DO think everything he puts out is awesome, and is the best shit out. That doesn't make me crazy. I don't think he is a GOD or anything like that, but I really have nothing bad to say about his work either. I have a life and Tech isn't the only artist I listen to. I don't necessarily think he can do no wrong, but he hasn't disappointed me yet. I've been a fan for 10 - 11 yrs. now, and I try to put people on to Tech all the time. If this stuff makes me a loser and obsessed, then fine. I'm gonna support this dude until he is done or dead. Maybe one day he'll put out some BS that'll make me change my mind, but 'til then... I have nothing bad to say about his music and I rep for Strange all day all night.
If that makes me a stan... then screw you... assholes...LOL!

I do see where you're coming from... but RARELY does anything tech himself do turn out to be less than very fucking impressive. Sure this aspect or that aspect of things surrounding him may not always be the gospel in every case... but i'm still gonna have to say it's usually very fucking impressive. haha and don't get me wrong, if tech changed for the worse and started putting out pure shit... i would be able to recognize it, but verse after verse he spits... every damn time impresses me, so as long as he keeps that up i'm gonna have to say fuck callin it stan-dom and just call it acknowledging something worth being acknowledged!

Well so far on this site I have met a few stans. I whould have to say I personally am a fan. I love almost all of his music but I can belive that not eveyone is gonna like what I like. Just the same not all are gonna dislike what i dislike. I can't be all in love with any one artist when I am in love with music. If you love music you enjoy anything that is good and at times highly support anything that is great. While I whould never say that Tech is my world I have never missed anyone of his shows when he is in my area and have bought all of his albums that I can find. So I guess some might try to say that makes me a stan. I whould still say fan cuz while I love his music I whould not be getting into a fight with people cuz they dont.

LOL The point is, who's going to identify themselves as a Stan? I mean honestly, if your devotion to something is so strong, you're not gonna call yourself a Stan. You'll consider yourself a Fan with a strong devotion to the person you listen to. Stan's don't know they're Stans, and therefore consider themselves what I said above.
