I listened to his 1999 mixtape when it was getting all that buzz and I wasn't impressed on my first listen but after another listen the kid is really talented. I mean he wasn't even "into" hip hop when that sound was out so for him to recreate it so well, and his lyricism is on point, he's pretty talented.

He's gonna need something to stand out though if he wants to be more than another internet buzz rapper though.

He's a beast. I think both 1999 and Rejex are the best mixtapes to release this year.

I've really only heard good things about Joey, but haven't even listened to one song.  

Post some youtube songs and/or free mixtape links.

I've listened to a few tracks, I dont recall it being good or bad, I've heard alot of good things about him. I'm glad lyricism is being brought back to Hip-Hop
